The Chinese documents written in Yuan Dynasty unearthed from Heishui City refer tlo the documents of the era from Tang Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty unearthed at the site of Heishui City.They are all important materials for the studies of modern Chinese language.The documents written in Yuan Dynasty unearthed from Heishui City studied in this paper is the important part of the documents of Heishui City.They are written in Chinese and of the era from the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty to the end of the Yuan Dynasty(including the Northern Yuan Dynasty).The contents involve religion,medicine,divination,contracts,military and political affairs,economy and other aspects.In terms of style,they are mainly various documents,including volume one to volume eight of the Chinese Documents of Heishui City hidden in China,and volume four to volume six of the Chinese Documents of Heishui City hidden in Russia.The time of the documents is clear and the language materials of the documents are rich.So the documents with great research value can reflect the language of the Yuan Dynasty.This paper describes and analyzes the subcategory of object prepositions in the the Chinese documents written in Yuan Dynasty unearthed from Heishui City,and compares them with the object prepositions from the Original Lao Qida,Thirty Kinds of Yuan Zaju,Three Kingdoms Annals and Piao Tongshi Yanjie.Then,we will analyze and discuss grammaticalization phenomenon and characteristics.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction of the all paper,in which introduces the research content,research object,research purpose,research significance and research methods;The second chapter introduces the general picture of the object prepositions in the Chinese documents written in Yuan Dynasty unearthed from Heishui City,and describes the object prepositions in the corpus in details;The third chapter discusses the grammaticalization of object prepositions in the Chinese documents written in Yuan Dynasty unearthed from Heishui City from the aspects of grammaticalization factors,mechanism,path,performance and characteristics;The fourth chapter compares the object prepositions in the Original Lao Qida,Thirty Kinds of Yuan Zaju,Three Kingdoms Annals and Piao Tongshi Yanjie with the object prepositions from the unearthed Chinese documents from Heishui City of the Yuan Dynasty,and discusses the characteristics of the object prepositions in the unearthed documents from Heishui City of the Yuan Dynasty;The last chapter summarizes the full paper.There are 19 object prepositions in the unearthed documents from Heishui City of the Yuan Dynasty.From the position relationship between prepositional phrases and verbs,prepositions can be divided into pre-verb prepositions and post-verb prepositions.Most object prepositions are pre-verb prepositions.According to different semantic relations,these object prepositions can be divided into eight sub-categories: agent object,patient object,involved object,service object or benefit object,relying object,collaboration object,comparison object,and initiating object.From the perspective of function,object prepositions can introduce nominal elements to form prepositional phrases,which can be used as adverbials before verbs or as complements after verbs,and sometimes can also be used as attributives.From the special form of prepositional phrases,there are prepositional suspensions and multi-layer prepositional phrases.Grammaticalization factors can be divided into internal factors and external factors.From the perspective of grammaticalization mechanism,there are mainly three ways: reanalysis,common influence and analogy.From the source,object prepositions are all derived from verbs.From the perspective of grammaticalization path,some prepositions will decline in the process of development,some prepositions’ functions will be further expanded,and some prepositions have multiple grammaticalization paths.From the expression and characteristics of grammaticalization,the object preposition has many manifestations in the process of grammaticalization,such as semantic change,semantic retention,functional convergence,phonetic weakening and coexistence.In general,the object prepositions in the Chinese documents unearthed in Heishui City of the Yuan Dynasty are both written and spoken,and the written characteristics are more prominent,both contemporary and heritage,and have obvious transitional characteristics.Pre-verb prepositions have an absolute advantage in quantity,and each preposition is characterized by imbalance in use.
