A Study On Three Issues Of Welsch’s Transcendence Aesthetics

Western traditional aesthetics mainly refers to the aesthetic thought of the period from ancient Greece in the sixth century BC to classical German aesthetics in the 19 th century,generally taking rationality and aesthetic utilitarianism as the standard to measure beauty.Overall,this paper reflects the inheritance and return of Baumgarten’s aesthetic thought.Baumgarten is the object of Welsch’s lifelong pursuit,because Baumgarten believes that the object of aesthetic research is not art first,but the perfection of perceptual knowledge,and then involves the study of art.Under the social background of widespread popularity of aestheticizing and electronic media,Wolfgang Welsch,a famous German postmodern aesthetician,put forward the idea of transcending aesthetics,believing that aesthetics should transcend traditional art ontology and turn to the comprehensive study of aestheticizing,art nouveau,perceptual attitude and electronic media to cope with the new aesthetic reality.As aesthetics is an inseparable part of People’s Daily life,it is an inevitable trend of aesthetic development that aesthetics and artistic activities change to aesthetic routine.The rationality of aestheticization becoming more and more popular and everyday lies in the fact that aesthetics is human’s pursuit of the spiritual world,which reveals that the essence of human existence at the deepest level is a spiritual existence.Based on the current situation,this paper takes three topics of Welsch’s transcendental aesthetics as the research object,reflecting the common concern for daily life.From the superficial aestheticization,electronic media,painting,and architectural features of new art,which people can directly feel the concrete expression,then sublimated to the criticism and reflection on the defects of traditional aesthetics.The first chapter analyzes superficial aestheticization and the spread of aestheticization,and compares the popular art with the high art.The development of electronic media has intensified the superficial aesthetization.Chapter two discusses the new aesthetic changes brought by electronic media,including the virtual world’s transcendence of the traditional real world and the transcendence of visual centralism.The development of aestheticization and electronic media leads to the blurring of the boundary between art and life,so art nouveau comes into being.
