Analyze The Artistic Language Features Of Zhao Peizhi

Zhao Peizhi is one of the famous contemporary Chinese oil painters in the 20 th century,and his painting style starts from the localization of nationalization and makes outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese oil painting.He strives to integrate the realism of Western oil painting with the freehand in Chinese painting,and renew the artistic expression in picture structure,space,color,dots,lines and flatness,giving realistic oil painting a new technical support and painting means.His painting concept starts from modern culture,the form and content of painting are unique,and his works contain profound humanistic care.Zhao Peizhi’s painting language is an important attempt to integrate contemporary Chinese and Western oil painting,and his painting practice provides a new possibility for the development of Chinese oil painting.This study conducts research on Zhao Peizhi’s painting language from four parts.The first part is an introduction,which introduces the research background,the content and methods of the research,the purpose and significance of the topic selection,and the literature review.Thes econd part analyzes the linguistic characteristics of Zhao Peizhi’s paintings by studying the modeling characteristics,color expression,composition rules and subject matter selection in Zhao Peizhi’s paintings.The third part analyzes the reasons for the formation of Zhao Peizhi’s painting language by describing the background of the times,growth experience,regional characteristics,national culture and the influence of foreign artists on Zhao Peizhi.The fourth part expounds the artistic value and enlightenment of Zhao Peizhi’s painting language,as well as the influence of Zhao Peizhi’s painting language on the selection of topics,composition,techniques and colors of my graduation creation,so as to further improve the study of Zhao Peizhi’s painting language.Through this research,we can understand how Zhao Peizhi inherits Western traditional painting while integrating Chinese and Western oil painting to form a unique personal style,and explores the important enlightenment of his painting language characteristics for today’s oil painters.
