Zhang Guiming’s contemporary Chinese painting undoubtedly follows the freehand brushwork of Lin Fengmian,Guan Liang,Zhu Qizhan,Liu Haisu,and Cheng Shifa,but it has made further breakthroughs under his pen.[Liu Xilin.Colorful Pearl on the Sea [J].Guangming Daily,2014(012): 2] Zhang Guiming combined the compositional language of dots,lines,and surfaces in modern Western painting with traditional Chinese freehand brushwork techniques,creating a new language system for ink painting that blends and interweaves Western and Eastern styles.His ink painting deconstructs the traditional composition rules of business location,and on the basis of imitating nature,the objects represented are flattened,intentionally reconstructing their positions.But his lines and brushstrokes still retain the tradition of freehand brushwork,with the unique "golden and stone atmosphere" of Chinese calligraphy and painting,which is sharp,simple,and clumsy,and has a soaring momentum.He used ink,Chinese painting pigments,gouache pigments and other performance,his paintings broke the boundaries of eastern and western painting materials,broke through the Chinese traditional freehand brushwork heavy ink light color pen and ink habits,so that the screen color and ink fusion,works have both strong western color visual expression and traditional Chinese ink artistic conception.The paper provides a detailed analysis of the reasons and characteristics for the formation of Zhang Guiming’s artistic style in painting from the following three aspects:First of all,it analyzes the inheritance of Zhang Guiming’s painting style,and analyzes the influence of Chinese and Western painting on Zhang Guiming’s painting style by analogy.Secondly,analyze the breakthrough of Zhang Guiming’s artistic style in painting,focusing on the characteristics of composition planarity,color decoration,and rich lines,and compare it with Lin Fengmian’s painting style using comparative and image analysis methods.Finally,combined with the current environment,draw inspiration from Zhang Guiming’s painting style,practice and apply it to my graduation creation.Provide a detailed description of the impact of Zhang Guiming’s artistic style on the concept,composition,and techniques of his graduation creation,and summarize his creative insights.Under the influence of the diverse cultural backgrounds in the contemporary world,the artistic style of Chinese painting has gradually become diverse.Zhang Guiming’s painting follows the times,integrates the manifestation of Chinese and Western painting art,forms a unique painting language,and plays a leading role in the integration of Chinese and Western painting.The younger generation will further advance the creation of Chinese painting on the basis of their predecessors.
