Analysis Of Temporal And Spatial Evolution And Influencing Factors Of Henan Textile Industry From 1949 To 2020

As an important industrial transfer ground in the central region,Henan has the geographical advantage of connecting the north and the south,connecting the east and the west,and the textile industry occupies an important position as a link between the eastern region and the central and western regions.The textile industry in Henan Province has developed thousands of years ago,and in the Neolithic period,people have used kudzu,hemp and other spinning and weaving fabrics;By the Shang and Zhou Dynasties,the sericulture industry had already appeared;During the Yuan and Ming dynasties,people began to weave cloth with cotton,and by this time the textile industry had become one of the main economic sources in Henan Province;At the beginning of the 21 st century,Henan’s textile industry entered the era of machine production,with complete departments such as cotton,wool,linen,silk and chemical fiber.Henan Province has a good textile historical industrial foundation,textile industry is the pillar industry of our province,these conditions for our province market prosperity,export economy,employment and other aspects have made outstanding contributions,for the undertaking of the transfer of textile industry in the eastern coastal areas has played a certain role in promoting,but there are still many problems and difficulties in the process of its transfer.As a transitional region,Henan Province is at a disadvantage compared with the eastern region and raw material supply compared with the western region.Under such circumstances,we should take history as a guide,combine the development status of the textile industry after the founding of New China,analyze the factors affecting its development,and explore how Henan Province should seize the opportunity and make use of its own advantages in the context of the textile industry transfer to transform and upgrade the textile industry structure,so that the textile industry in Henan Province can develop healthily and rapidly.Taking the municipal area as the research scale,this paper uses literature analysis method,grade quantification method,location entropy,standard deviation ellipse analysis,kernel density analysis method,etc.to study the temporal and spatial evolution and influencing factors of the development of textile industry and its sub-industries in Henan Province from 1949 to 2020.Due to the long interval between the research period,the different statistical standards of historical data and statistical data,and the reform of state-owned enterprises around 1998,the textile industry faced problems such as capital restructuring and technological transformation before and after this time node,so this paper divides the time into two periods,1949-1998 and 1999-2020,to study their temporal and spatial evolution and influencing factors.The results of the study showed that:(1)On the whole,the textile industry in Henan Province developed relatively rapidly during1949-1998.At this stage,the textile industry development centers in Henan Province were mainly in Zhengzhou,Kaifeng,Nanyang,Xinxiang and other cities.It is entering a period of rapid development.From 1999 to 2020,the agglomeration area of textile industry development spread from the initial Xinxiang City to Xinyang City,Jiaozuo City and other places in the eastern region.But on the whole,Xinxiang City has always been a high concentration area for the development of textile industry in Henan Province.(2)As far as the three-digit textile industry is concerned,it mainly presents the characteristics of coordinated development of cotton spinning as the basis,chemical fiber as the focus,and printing and dyeing,wool,linen,silk,and knitting.Among them,the cotton textile industry is mainly concentrated in the southwestern and central parts of Henan Province.Regional development;the development of the chemical fiber weaving industry is mainly concentrated in the southern part of Henan Province,but its development center is in Xinxiang City;the industrial agglomeration center of the wool textile industry is mainly Kaifeng City;the area where the hemp textile industry develops more prominently is Xinyang City in the southern region;The area where the development of the silk textile industry is relatively prominent is Nanyang City.(3)As far as the four-digit textile industry is concerned,the spatial distribution of raw material-dependent enterprises showed a state of "dispersion-agglomeration-dispersion" during 1949-2020;the spatial distribution of market-oriented enterprises showed a " The state of "dispersion-agglomeration";the spatial distribution of environmentally sensitive enterprises from 1949 to 2020 showed a state of"dispersion-agglomeration-decentralization".(4)For the analysis of the factors affecting the development of the textile industry in Henan Province,qualitative and quantitative analysis were used in the two time periods of 1949-1998 and1999-2020,respectively.During the period from 1949 to 1998,the analysis was mainly carried out from three aspects: policy,social culture and market.Among them,the policy played a basic role in the development of the textile industry in Henan Province at this stage;social culture provided an important driving force for its development;to After 1978,the market became an important factor affecting the development of the textile industry.From 1999 to 2020,a linear regression equation was established to determine the factors affecting the development of the textile industry.Among them,market potential,technology and institutional factors played a role in promoting the development of the textile industry in Henan Province,while environmental regulations restricted the development of high-polluting enterprises.,which has a negative impact on the development of the textile industry.At the same time,with the continuous increase of per capita GDP,people’s demand for consumer goods has shifted to higher-level spiritual products,which also limits the development of the textile industry.
