| "You X ne" is a very common structure in modern Chinese.Due to its stable form and meaning,this article focuses on it as a subjective evaluative construction indicating "confirmed meaning" and "assured meaning" according to the framework of construction grammar theory.Based on a large amount of language data,this paper analyzes the characteristics of syntax,semantics and pragmatics of the construction from the synchronic level,and on this basis,the formation mechanism and motivation of the construction in the evolution process are discussed from the diachronic level.And we want to provide a certain reference for the construction research.Firstly,through the observation of language facts and the collation and analysis of the corpus,it is clear that the research object of this paper is the construction "You X ne" and the relevant research status is briefly analyzed,and the literature is sorted out,which provides the corresponding theoretical basis for subsequent research.Secondly,this paper examines the syntactic features,semantic connotations,and pragmatic functions of the construction "You X ne".From the perspective of syntax,we first analyze the episodic characteristics of the constants " You" and "ne",the existence of the " You" table is used to prompt and emphasize the latter "X",and "ne" is used as a communication mark to express the conviction of the facts stated and play a role in deepening the tone.In addition,we have sorted out and summarized the variable "X" from two aspects: the number of syllables and the grammatical function.We collected a total of 707 valid corpus,of which 46% were monosyllabic,50% were two-syllable,and 4% were multisyllabic.The syntactic function of this construct is that it can be formed into sentences on its own,or as a clause in a predicate or complex sentence.From the perspective of semantics,this configuration is different from the existence meaning embodied in the ordinary structure "You+X+ne ",which represents the subjective affirmative comment of the speaker on a certain speech content,speech behavior or speech thing,on this basis,the construction meaning can be further divided into two categories: "confirmation meaning" and "guarantee meaning",and the similarities and differences between the construction "You X ne" and the non-construction "You+X+ne" are analyzed from the perspectives of syntax and semantics.From the perspective of pragmatics,the pragmatic characteristics of this construction are manifested in the dialogue context and negative background,avoiding absolute expression,and giving both sides of communication a certain space and leeway in the process of use.In the chapter,this structure has the function of highlighting focus,connecting the discourse and interpersonal interaction.Then,the diachronic evolution of the construction "You X ne" and its formation mechanism and motivation are investigated.Firstly,based on the investigation of diachronic corpus,it is concluded that the configuration first appeared in the Qing Dynasty,and the prevalence of scripts and novels in this period provided a certain opportunity for its development,and based on this,the diachronic evolution of the semantics of the construction was analyzed.The formation mechanism includes pragmatic reasoning and frequency factors,and the formation motivation includes two aspects of subjectivization and the economic principle of language.Finally,in order to better grasp the construction,we also compare and analyze the commonality and difference of the construction "You X ne" and its variants " hai You X ne " and "dou You X ne ",and analyze the role and uniqueness of the adverbs "hai" and "dou" in the construction. |
