With the development of science and technology,the increase in the number of spacecraft missions and load equipment has brought enormous challenges to the reliability and safety of power distribution systems.In order to meet the research needs of spacecraft intelligence,miniaturization,and lightweight,intelligent power distribution technology is of great significance in the fields of long-life satellites,deep space exploration,and autonomous on-orbit management of spacecraft.In response to the above issues,research on aerospace multi-channel miniaturized PDU(Power Distribution Unit)based on solid-state power distribution was conducted to meet the requirements of spacecraft miniaturization and intelligence.Firstly,this topic proposes to use solid-state switches instead of traditional circuit breakers to develop a multi-channel small modular PDU intelligent distributor.Secondly,inverse time protection algorithm is used.During system overcurrent,due to the negative correlation between the system protection time and the magnitude of the current,the application of inverse time protection algorithms allows for autonomous restoration of power supply in the event of a soft fault in the distribution channel.The surge current is suppressed through circuit design,achieving the goal of slow opening and slow breaking of the switch,and reducing circuit losses.Finally,combined with FPGA programmable logic devices,the system can adjust the inverse time protection time based on actual needs while meeting the requirements of control switch ON and OFF.It has the ability to control multiple solid-state switches,reducing the volume and weight of the power distribution system,and meeting the requirements of spacecraft miniaturization design.Through experimental testing,the multi-channel small modular PDU intelligent distributor designed in this paper can achieve autonomous load fault management,automatically monitor load status information,meet the requirements of optimal energy distribution,and achieve the specified fast shutdown requirements in the event of overload current,achieving the purpose of intelligent and miniaturized application of spacecraft modules.
