Research On Aesthetic Appreciation Of Natural Sounds

In the history of aesthetic development,natural sounds have not received much attention,which makes the vivid and abundant aesthetic experience of natural sounds unable to get theoretical feedback and guidance.This paper hopes to find a theoretical basis and further analysis for the aesthetic experience of natural sounds through the research on the aesthetics of natural sounds,so as to promote the return of natural sounds to the field of aesthetics as a research object,which is conducive to the reconstruction and improvement of contemporary natural aesthetics.On the other hand,it is also helpful for applied subjects such as soundscape design to obtain theoretical basis and guidance from natural aesthetics.The first chapter from the perspective of theoretical history analyzes the reasons why natural sounds have been marginalized for a long time,as well as the necessity and possibility of the current construction of the aesthetic theory about natural sounds,aiming to clarify the internal logic of natural sounds being neglected in the field of aesthetic theory.On the one hand,natural sounds belong to sounds,which have long been excluded by visual centralism.On the other hand,they are natural and suppressed by the tradition of art philosophy.The root cause is the suppression of rationalism and human subjectivity.With the rise of anti-rationalism,the auditory tradition has been revived in cultural studies and philosophy,and natural beauty has returned to the realm of aesthetics.As a bridge connecting auditory culture and natural aesthetics,appreciation of natural sounds is emerging together with a more inclusive and complete contemporary aesthetics.The second chapter discusses several problems that need to be solved in the construction of aesthetic theory about natural sounds.First,the object and category of appreciation of natural sounds.The field of contemporary sound culture provides a suitable object and category for the study of appreciation of natural soundssoundscape.As a perceptual mechanism dominated by hearing,soundscape emphasizes the interaction and effect between human subject and sound environment.On this basis,the aesthetic and ecological properties of natural sounds have been paid attention to and explored.Second,whether appreciation of natural sounds has objectivity.Objectivity is an obstacle for natural sounds to enter the field of aesthetic theory.How to keep the openness of natural sounds and avoid the triviality and superficiality of aesthetic experience should be the focus of the construction of aesthetic theory about natural sounds.Third,the aesthetic way of natural sound.Due to the aesthetic characteristics of natural sounds,there is no single proper and correct approach of aesthetic appreciation.And the aesthetic appreciation of natural sounds can and should be opened to multiple and free ways.The third chapter explores the dimension beyond hearing in the natural aesthetic experience,and further explores the meaning of natural sounds to our existence.It is not just our ears that natural sounds awaken.The spatiality and integrity of the natural environment determine that the natural aesthetic experience cannot be limited to any single dimension.Synesthesia and integration of aesthetic experience is the ideal path to natural aesthetic.Human beings belong to nature,and therefore have a natural need and love for natural sounds and all natural things.The aesthetic experience of natural sounds is not just an auditory activity.In a more fundamental sense,it is related to our authentic existence,and guides us to find a salvation road in the technological age that is not constrained by machines and algorithms.Nature sounds have an integrative power that enables us to open to nature wholeheartedly and unreservedly,aware that we originate from nature and belong to nature,that we have never been separated from nature for a moment,realize that all things are free and equal,and we are together with nature.
