The Research On Ge Yilong’s Poetry

Ge Yilong(1567-1640)is named Zhenfu.He is a resident of Taishan and Xiaoyuan.He is from Dongting Dongshan,Wu County,Suzhou prefecture(now Dongshan Town,Wuzhong District,Suzhou).He was one of the famous literati in Wu in the late Ming Dynasty.At the same time,he was also a participant in many elegant gathering activities in Jiangnan.He had a particular influence on the poetry and art garden.It is a pity that GE long has made little effort to communicate with others through the network for a long time.Most of his efforts have only focused on the starting point,and the endpoint of his poetry,and most of them have paid little attention to communication with others through the network for a long time.Based on this,this thesis takes Ge Yilong and his poetry creation as the primary research object,focusing on analyzing GE’s family pedigree,friends,and poetry creation characteristics,trying to get close to his actual living situation and complex spiritual world.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into three chapters:The introduction mainly introduces the relevant research review of Ge Yilong and the significance and characteristics of this thesis.The first chapter focuses on combing Ge Yilong’s family pedigree and life deeds.Ge Yilong was born in a family with an intense business atmosphere.His ancestors had Zigong’s talent for birth control,food and clothing,and relatively rich family background.While their ancestors were engaged in business,they gradually worshipped elegance,which strengthened their own moral and cultural cultivation and laid a family foundation for the growth of future generations,including Ge Yilong.Ge Yilong’s life was full of grievances due to his love of traveling and elegant gatherings in the late Ming Dynasty and his pursuit of personal ideals.He didn’t take the imperial examination in his youth and wandered in many ways.After half a hundred years,he left his hometown and went to southern Yunnan.His life can be described as a wide range of mountains and rivers and reading world affairs.The second chapter analyzes and discusses Ge Yilong’s friendship and uses his friendship activities as a clue to connect the life traces of many scholars of the same era,to observe and present the living conditions and spiritual outlook of the literati group in the late Ming Dynasty.Ge Yilong has liked to travel and make friends all his life.His network of friends is enormous and complex.Celebrities,scholars,tourists,outsiders,full-time painters,and pink beauties.Ge Yilong often records the beginning and end of the friendship between the two sides and the living conditions and mentality of the friends in his poems.In making friends with these ethnic groups with different identities and hobbies,Ge Yilong has significantly benefited from relaxing his temperament and interests,broadening his horizons,and accumulating reputation and popularity.In addition,making friends also impacts Ge Yilong’s poetry creation which can not be ignored.For example,his writing on the singing and theme of Yaji is the reflection of daily making friends in the field of poetry creation.The third chapter analyzes the content and artistic characteristics of Ge Yilong’s poems in detail,which is also the innovation of this thesis.From the existing data,people’s research on Ge Yilong’s poetry works mainly focuses on describing his poetry’s quiet and empty wind.At the same time,there is a lack of systematic analysis and comprehensive summary of his poetry theme,content,and overall artistic style.Based on this,this thesis discusses the scope,artistic characteristics,and causes of Ge Yilong’s poetry from the reality of his creation.Generally speaking,Ge Yilong’s poems have a large number and rich themes.He is good at expressing the customs of the south of the Yangtze River,making friends and singing,painting and art;In terms of poetic characteristics,Ge Yilong is good at expressing his feelings and aspirations with the help of personalized images and skillfully uses overlapping words to enjoy his appearance.Under the infiltration of the Poetry Tide of the times and the accumulation of poetry style in Wuzhong,Ge Yilong’s poetry creation has always been accompanied by two different types:quiet and empty and beautiful and soft.In addition,some poems are vigorous in writing,unique in imagination,and good in creation.Among them,the best works catch up with the prosperous Tang Dynasty of Han,Wei and have the demeanor of Li Bai,Cen Shen and high suitability,which shows the talent of poets.This chapter also discusses the literature and historical value of Ge Yilong’s poetry.Ge Yilong’s poems on some realistic themes pay attention to social politics,the suffering of people’s livelihood,and other issues,which is deeply meaningful for Du Fu to supplement history with poetry.In addition,a considerable number of poems preserved a large number of anecdotes of characters,which provided essential reference materials for understanding the literary history at that time.Besides poetry,Ge Yilong is also good at filling in words.This chapter also analyzes Ge Yilong’s Ci Poetry from two aspects: content and characteristics.The number of his words is small,and most of them are works of writing,seclusion,leisure,wandering and thinking,and chanting things.They show a clear and secluded artistic style and a creative tendency of starting and winding.The conclusion briefly summarizes the research content of this thesis.This thesis investigates Ge Yilong in a specific era.The cultural background of the late Ming Dynasty excavates his life deeds in many ways,focuses on his poetry works,and then discusses the artistic characteristics and unique value of his poetry creation to promote the research on Ge Yilong,his works,and the art garden of poetry in the late Ming Dynasty.The appendix is a compendium of Ge Yilong’s chronology.Limited by time and energy,we can only roughly sort out Ge Yilong’s life context.Some specific details will be examined later.
