With high-speed development of China’s national economy,the FMCG industry has also developed rapidly.FMCG has the characteristics of short use time,fast circulate and renewal,which leads FMCG companies to have an acute insight into the market rhythm and quickly adjust their production,marketing and other strategies to seize the market opportunities to gain competitive advantage.Compared with employees in other industries,employees in FMCG industry are facing more challenges,they often need to work overtime to complete their work.Both work and family are greatly affected,the turnover rate of this industry has remained high for years.Turnover intention can help explain and detect turnover behavior to a certain extent.It is not only a deep-rooted problem of many companies,but also the expectation of company’s development.How to balance the relationship between work and family has attracted more and more attention from the whole society,companies and employees.Although many studies have found that work-family balance has a great impact on employees’ turnover intention,but most of existing studies focus on professional specific groups such as nurses,doctors or teachers.For the FMCG industry,whether its industry characteristics and high turnover rate are affected by work-family balance remains to be studied.On the basis of existing literature,study divides work-family balance into two directions: work-family conflict(including work family conflict and family work conflict)and work-family facilitate(including work family facilitate and family work facilitate),Taking job satisfaction as the mediating variable between work-family balance and turnover intention,and sense of organizational support as the moderating variable between work-family balance and job satisfaction,study attempts to explore the relationship and influence mode from the perspective of integration.Study takes 447 employees from FMCG industry as the research sample to carry out empirical research,using the Work-family Balance Scale,Job Satisfaction Scale,Perceived Organizational Support Scale and Turnover Intention Scale,using PSS21.0software to analysis.The main conclusions:(1)4 dimensions of work-family balance can significantly forecast the turnover intention of employees in the FMCG industry;(2)Job satisfaction plays a mediating role between FMCG industry employees’ 4 dimensions of work-family balance and turnover intention;(3)Sense of organizational support plays a significant moderating role between FMCG industry employees’ family work conflict and job satisfaction.(4)The mediating effect of family work conflict on turnover intention through job satisfaction was moderated by perceived organizational support.Based on above conclusions,study puts forward suggestions to reduce the turnover intention of employees in the FMCG industry through improving work-family balance,enhancing the sense of organizational support,then improve the job satisfaction,provides psychological theoretical support for human resource management of FMCG industry.In addition,study adopts the combination of interview research and questionnaire survey,the information obtained in the interview research is very helpful to put forward suggestions to reduce employee turnover intention and ensures the preciseness and scientific of the research to a certain extent.
