The construction industry is one of the important industrial sector. It occupies an important position in the national economy in various sectors. In twentieth Century90years, the process of the development of social economy in Shanghai indicates that the construction industry has played an important role to promote the Shanghai economic development.Status of the construction industry in the national economy can not be replaced. It makes the construction workers, especially skilled employees become xiangbobo. But at the same time, they also faced enormous challenges. Risk is proportional to return. It is so-called "high risk and high return". The construction industry employees have relatively high yields, but at the same time, they also bear the huge risk and pressure. Although the development of the construction industry provide more employment opportunities for the talent market, but the frequent flowing of personnel has become unavoidable problem in the construction industry development. A pretty high turnover increase the management and training cost of enterprise considerably. How to relieve the work stress of construction employees, improve job satisfaction, and reduce the turnover rate has become the core issue of the construction industry enterprises.Around this goal, this study used the questionnaire survey. It selects the skilled employees in Shanghai construction industry as samples (including the constructor, builder, designer, supervisor and project cost consultant etc.) The effective sample number is284. Focuses on the analysis of the relationships among job stress, job satisfaction and turnover intention about the skilled employees in Shanghai construction industry. The results basicly confirmed the research model and hypothesis, conclusions are reached as below:(1) Currently, job stress of the skilled employees in construction industry mainly comes from external pressure and internal pressure.(2) Sex, age, marital status, position and operating post will bring some influence to the skilled employees in construction industry on job stress, job satisfaction and turnover intention. They will also have a certain difference.(3) Job stress and job satisfaction of the skilled employees in construction industry has a certain prediction role on turnover intention.(4) Job satisfaction is the intermediary variable between job stress and turnover intention, the external pressure could affect job satisfaction and further affect turnover intention. The conclusion of this research provides a theoretical basis for the management in construction industry to evolve the management rules and measures. And it also provides some reference opinions about how to improve job satisfaction, reduce turnover rate of the skilled employees in construction industry.
