The research of work-family relationship began from the late 70's of the 20th century. There are many researches of the area in West Country but the condition is different in China. Most of the research of work-family relationship is about the negative facets, but not so much attention is paid to the positive facets which is a gap of work-family research. Work-family support is very important in the change from the negative influence to the positive. The research developed the scale of work-family support in the background of China, and checked the relationship of work-family support, turnover intention and further checked the moderation of work-family support to the work-family conflict and turnover intention.Study1: The research has been divided into three parts which are opened scales, deep talk and formal test by participants of 147,268 and 344.The Work-family support Scale was validated by EFA and CFA. The results showed that work-family support consists of four factors which are formal support, informal support, emotional support and life support. CFA indicated good fit of theoretical structure of the scale. The Cronbach's coefficient was 0.824. Both of the reliability and validity met the needs of psychometric standard.Study 2: The study investigated 390 workers to discuss the relationship among work-family support, work-family conflict and turnover intention. The regression analysis showed that formal support and informal support are the predictors of turnover intention (B=-0.197, B=-0.212). The two forms of work-family are the most important predictor to turnover intention, and the influence of family-work conflict (B=0.257) is positive than work-family conflict (B=0.145); The study discussed the moderator of work-family support between work-family conflict and turnover intention by unconstrained model by LISREL8.70. The results show that the main effect of work-family support and work-family conflict are -0.349 and 0.343 respectively and the moderator effect is 0.148.The contributions of this study are: (1) develop the work-family support scale in the China background which enrichment the theory of work-family and support the theory;(2) certify the predictor of work-family support to turnover intention; and the predictor of the two forms of work-family conflict to turnover intention; (3) certify the moderator of work-family support between work-family conflict and turnover intention.
