Research On Regional Differences And Spatial Effects Of The Integrated Development Of Culture And Tourism Industry

Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,China’s cultural industry and tourism industry have made historic achievements,and the status of strategic pillar industries has become more prominent.With the transformation of China’s main contradictions,the integration of culture and tourism industry has entered a golden period of development and contradictions.The large differences in the development level of cultural and tourism integration among regions,the weak industrial foundation and the low level of agglomeration restrict the development of the structure,quality and benefits of cultural and tourism integration,and can not meet the growing needs of the people for a better life in the era of mass tourism consumption for personalized and differentiated high-quality tourism.Therefore,focusing on the integration and development of culture and tourism industry,systematically measuring the regional differences and spatial effects of the integration and development of culture and tourism in China,analyzing the formation mechanism and internal logic of its unbalanced and insufficient integration and development,and revealing its restrictive factors and promotion path are of great significance to improve the integration efficiency of culture and tourism industry and realize high-quality development.In order to answer the following questions,this study takes the integrated development of culture and tourism industry in 31 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)of China as the research object.On the basis of systematically combing the relevant research results at home and abroad,this study comprehensively uses the theories of system coupling,path dependence and spatial Econometrics,and adopts the research method of combining normative and empirical analysis The comprehensive evaluation index system of the integrated development of culture and tourism industry is systematically constructed from the three dimensions of human capital and industrial effect.Based on the TOPSIS coupling coordination degree model,dagum Gini coefficient decomposition and kernel density estimation method,the regional differences and dynamic evolution of the integrated development of culture and tourism industry in China are described and characterized,and the spatial correlation of the integrated development of culture and tourism is analyzed from the global spatial effect and local spatial effect,Then it analyzes and evaluates the impact of integrated development level from the perspectives of scientific and technological innovation,consumer demand,economic development and human capital.Finally,it puts forward relevant policy suggestions around the improvement of the efficiency of the integrated development of culture and tourism industry.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)the overall development level of the integration of culture and tourism industry in China shows an upward trend,but it is still in the stage of high imbalance and insufficiency.The polarization effect shows the trend of obvious in the early stage,decreasing in the middle stage and increasing in the later stage.(2)Due to its strong scientific and technological innovation ability,high level of economic development and good foundation of cultural and tourism talents,the eastern region has formed a large number of representative high-quality cultural and tourism integration products,concentrated favorable resources,gave full play to the spatial effect and coordinated development with surrounding provinces.This is reflected in the strong trend of cultural and tourism integration,coordinated progress in structure,quality and efficiency,and prominent regional advantages.(3)The late development advantages of the central and western regions are mainly due to the continuous improvement of the economic development environment,the significant improvement of scientific and technological innovation and consumption demand,and the spatial spillover effect of capital and talents in advantageous regions.At the same time,some provinces play a leading role,which provides a solid foundation for the late development and catch-up of the integrated development of culture and tourism in the central and western regions,Finally,the spatial pattern shows the trend of the diffusion of the advantageous area of cultural tourism integration from the eastern region to the central and western regions.(4)The allocation efficiency of science and technology,talents,infrastructure and other elements in Northeast China is low,the integration path and development mode of culture and tourism are single,and the driving effect of "leading imitation" has not been formed,resulting in the gradual widening of the gap with other regions.(5)In the future,China’s integrated development of culture and tourism should adhere to the "five development concepts",focus on "shaping tourism with culture and highlighting culture with tourism",take meeting the people’s needs for a better life as the goal,and promote the spatial linkage and coordination among regions through high-level scientific and technological innovation,high-standard culture and tourism products,efficient development environment,high-quality talent introduction and training,so as to realize the high-quality development of cultural and tourism integration.
