Research On The Application Of Book Form Design In Picture Book Creation

Book form is a very characteristic category in book design,with unique functions and needs.Picture books,as illustrated books,have been widely known and accepted by people of all ages.As a result,the demand for their shape design has been diversified.The design of book form directly affects the sensory experience brought by picture books.Proper book form will stimulate the charm of picture books to the greatest extent.With the development of The Times and the innovation of science and technology,the book form design of picture books is becoming more and more humanized and reasonable.However,with the increase of market demand,there are a large number of "assembly line" picture books,many of which are flashy but not realistic,and lose the original meaning and value of book form design.Starting from its own creation,this paper studies the elements and functions of book form design of picture books,and tries to combine the form design of picture books with its own creation.On the basis of understanding the psychological needs of different groups,based on the content,form and function of picture books,the form of picture books is deeply analyzed from the angles of graphics,color,material and display mode.In the research process,literature analysis method is firstly adopted to collect and sort out existing domestic and foreign relevant research literature to form a scientific understanding of picture books and book forms.Then,the case analysis method is adopted to refer to existing picture books of different forms at home and abroad,classify them,and select typical cases for analysis one by one.Finally,the research content is summarized and returned to creation.It is intended to enrich the experience of "five senses" in the process of reading,magnify the charm of picture books,let creators convey emotions more effectively,and let readers get rich fun and knowledge in reading.
