The Han and Tang dynasty documents unearthed in the northwest,namely the Northwest Han Jian and Dunhuang Turpan documents,these two types of excavated documents have the characteristics of large quantity,wide content and outstanding material timeliness,and have been the focus of academic research since the 20 th century,with great research value.The Northwest Han Dynasty and Dunhuang Turpan literature provides a true and reliable record for understanding the politics and economy of the northwest region of the Han and Tang Dynasties,including a large number of materials related to postal stations,which provide valuable information for the study of the characteristics and evolution of the Han and Tang postal systems.Starting from the Han and Tang Dynasty documents unearthed in the northwest,this thesis will sort out and conduct a comparative study of the postal terms of the two periods,through comparative observation of the diachronic replacement and evolution of words,the relationship between word evolution and politics,military and culture is analyzed.This article is divided into three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.The text is from the second chapter to the fourth chapter.The second chapter is an investigation of the postal word system excavated in the northwest of the Han and Tang Dynasties,and on the basis of the definition of the words of the Han and Tang Dynasties,the members of the word system are classified as postal institutions,transmission methods,process restriction management,postal power,sealing and opening,postal vouchers and indicating "transmission" meaning words in postal transmission,according to the seven categories above for interpretation and word construction analysis.The third chapter is a comparative investigation of the words of the Han and Tang Dynasties unearthed in the northwest,including the members of the word system,the meaning of words,and the structural characteristics.The fourth chapter analyzes the reasons for the evolution of Han and Tang postal terms unearthed in northwest China,and analyzes the reasons for the evolution in combination with the characteristics of the evolution of postal terms and the relevant records of politics,archaeology and culture in the documents handed down from generation to generation.Conclusion introduces the conclusions,innovations and shortcomings of the thesis,and the prospect of a comparative study of postal terms in the literature unearthed in Northwest China.Through the comparative study of postal words,this thesis finds that the postal words unearthed in the Han and Tang dynasties have the following characteristics:(1)Nearly half of the postal words in the Han Dynasty disappear in the Dunhuang Turpan literature,and a small number of postal words are replaced by history.(2)Nearly half of the postal words in the Han Dynasty have not changed in the meaning of the words in the Tang Dynasty,nearly 1/2 of the words have disappeared from the original postal meanings,and the meanings of a small number of words have changed over time,but they are still members of the postal word system.(3)The trend of bisyllablization has been further strengthened.(4)The more formal word-building method is absolutely dominant,followed by the juxtaposition,and the word-building method is not complete.(5)There are many types of word construction within synthetic words.At the same time,it was found that the bisyllablization of Chinese vocabulary,the internal adjustment mechanism of language,the postal system in different historical periods,the reform of the military system,and technological progress were all the reasons for the evolution of postal terms. |
