Huang Tingjian, the founder of Jiangxi Poetry school, lived in the Northern Song Dynasty, which promoted the development of Han literature in the Five Hills Period, although it did not coincide with the Five Hills Period in Japan. In the historical environment of the increasingly close cultural exchanges between China and Japan, wushan Zen monks,as the creation subjects of wushan literature, follow the historical tradition of learning Chinese culture and extensively absorb the literature nutrition from the other side of the ocean. Many litterateurs of the Northern Song Dynasty are the models of the Five Mountain Monks, and Huang Tingjian is one of them that can not be ignored. This thesis intends to study the acceptance of Huang Tingjian in Japanese Han literature in the Five Mountain Period from the perspective of the recipient. In the study of literary reception activities, special attention should be paid to the following: first,as the meaning generator of the reception aesthetics, the recipient needs to be paid attention to,because it is the continuous transmission process of the recipient that makes the recipient’s works constantly enter the field of experience;Secondly,it is necessary to understand that all the behaviors in the receiving activities have historical characteristics, because different historical stages have their specific historical conditions, different historical conditions will produce different acceptance evaluation, and lead to the difference in understanding of the works of the recipient. This thesis is divided into five chapters.Because the literary phenomenon and the change of human values, and the evolution of social forms are often compatible,to investigate a literary phenomenon, first of all,it is necessary to clarify its background,so the first chapter of the paper mainly from the perspective of culture and politics,to explore the social background and development of the literature of the Five Mountains.Next, the second chapter discusses the two important reasons for wu Shan literature to accept Huang Tingjian. On the one hand,it is because huang Tingjian’s zen mark and the identity of the Five Mountains Zen monk fit together, which is the internal reason; On the other hand, huang Tingjian’s literary texts have been widely spread in the Five Mountains period, which is the external reason. The third chapter studies the absorption and reference of Wushan literature to Huang Tingjian’s poetry from the perspective of subject matter and image. The zen monk of Five Mountains likes to write second rhyming poems, and uses the image of white gull in his poems, which is the acceptance of Huang Tingjian’s poems. In addition, the creation of Wushan literature,to a large extent benefited from huang Tingjian’s poetic guidance,so the fourth chapter of the paper from the character, syntax, the use of these three perspectives, discusses the wushan literature to Huang Tingjian’s poetic acceptance. Finally, the fifth chapter discusses the characteristics and significance of wushan literature’s acceptance of Huang Tingjian. The characteristics include three aspects: firstly, the acceptance of Huang Tingjian tends to be practical;secondly, the acceptance of Huang Tingjian reaches its peak in the late Wushan Period;secondly, there are some similarities and differences with the acceptance of Huang Tingjian in the Korean literary circle of the same period. The meaning of acceptance includes positive meaning and negative influence.Generally speaking, the acceptance of Huang Tingjian by wushan literature not only promoted the development of Japanese Chinese poetry, promoted the prosperity of Japanese Chinese literature, but also strengthened the diversified interpretation of Chinese literature in foreign lands.Of course, due to the one-sided understanding and naive application of Huang’s poetic method, there have been a lot of formalized and even routine works in the process of creation. |
