Lu You’s Poetry At His Official Term In Jiangxi And Their Influence

The two times he served as an official in Jiangxi is an important life experience in Lu You’s career.According to the author’s statistics,Lu You’s "Jiannan poetry manuscript" and "Weinan literary collection" contain 259 Poetry,221 Poem,3 words and 35 articles about his official work in Jiangxi.The later period recalls 74 Poetry,46 Poem and 28 articles.Poetry is still the most characteristic and valuable part of Lu You’s official period in Jiangxi.The topics cover patriotic sentiment,mountain and river customs,chanting and speaking of the spirit,giving farewell to friends,traveling and homesickness,reading and teaching children,leisurely and self-chanting,remembering dreams and drunken songs,and learning the way of Zen poetry,etc.,reflecting Lu You’s experience as an official in Jiangxi,his activities,his friendships,and his inheritance and development of the humanities in Ganzhong in all aspects.Lu You’s official Poetry in Jiangxi mainly refer to the Poetry composed during his two official periods in Jiangxi,from July of the first year of Qiandao(1165)to May of the second year of Qiandao(1166)and from September of the sixth year of Chunxi(1179)to December of the seventh year of Chunxi(1180).The Poetry in this paper also include Poetry written in Jiangxi during his official service in Jiangxi,including Poetry written in August of the sixth year of Qiandao(1170)when he entered Shu and in June of the fifth year of Chunxi(1178)when he returned to the east through northern Jiangxi,and Poetry in the "Jiannan Poetry" and "Weinan Wenji",in which the poet reminisces about the landscape and people of Jiangxi after leaving Jiangxi.Through a comprehensive analysis of Lu You’s official Poetry in Jiangxi,we examine Lu You’s official footprints,creations and friendships in Jiangxi,and explore the content and regional characteristics of Lu You’s official Poetry in Jiangxi.This paper adopts a research method combining poetic content and regional culture,aiming at exploring the cultural origin between Lu You and Jiangxi through the combing of Lu You’s official Poetry in Jiangxi,and discussing the unique significance of the eccentric travel to Jiangxi for Lu You’s creation from four levels: human,local,academic and influence.Chapter 1,we analyze the subject matter and artistic techniques of Lu You’s official Poetry in Jiangxi from the perspective of textual research.Based on the study of poetry ontology,from the historical facts and creative background of Lu You’s official work in Jiangxi,the Poetry of official work in Jiangxi are divided into four categories: patriotic and worrying about the people,a hundred flavors of official in Jiangxi,mountain and river customs,homesickness,learning and meditation,reading and teaching children,leisure and self-chanting,and giving farewell to friends.On this basis,we explore Lu You’s choice of imagery such as rain,flowers,tea and other aesthetic objects such as dream Poetry and drunken songs during his official career in Jiangxi,and reflect his rich and colorful spiritual world and present his spiritual pursuit during the low period of his life through artistic techniques such as inspiration,borrowing objects to express his will,chanting and contrasting reality.Chapter 2,from the perspective of geography,examines Lu You’s travels and creations in Jiangxi.Based on the regional culture of Jiangxi,it outlines Lu You’s travels to Jiangxi twice and his poetic path in Jiangxi in the Song Dynasty.It examines Lu You’s poetic path from the first time he was an official in Jiangxi,the second time he was an official in Jiangxi,and the main nodes of the poetic path in Jiangxi;it discusses the landscape of the mountains and rivers,the humanistic landscape,the customs,the food and products,as well as the culture of palaces and monasteries and study halls in Jiangxi under Lu You’s writing,in order to highlight the regional characteristics of Jiangxi.In addition,it also focuses on Lu You’s memorials to Jiangxi after leaving Gan,mainly reflected in landscape writing and personnel memorials,which are his profound origin and temporal and spatial connection with Jiangxi’s regional culture.Chapter 3 compares his interpersonal interactions in his two official positions in Jiangxi from the perspective of human relations.From the poetry of his official duties in Jiangxi,we can sort out Lu You’s social circle in Jiangxi.During his official career in Jiangxi,Lu You was close to more than 10 people,including Zhou Bida,Chen Zhimao,Li Hao and Rui Guoqi.With the people outside the party and Jane Li Daoist,monk Shou Pu,etc.They were intimatelyacquainted.They mainly sang in poetry and literature,and many of them became lifelong friends,forming an inseparable bond,which is a testimony to his two careers in Gan.His affection for his teachers,Zeng Ji and Chen Zhimao,and his respect for his peers,Zhou Bida and Li Hao,are all part of the Jiangxi connection.Chapter 4 explores Lu You’s ephemeral reception of Jiangxi’s literary scene from a scholarly perspective.It includes Lu You’s cultural vision of Jiangxi before and after he entered Jiangxi,his academic relationship with the Jiangxi poetry school,and his interaction with Jiangxi literati of his time.Lu You’s acceptance of Jiangxi literature was multifaceted,for example,in poetry,he highly respected Tao Yuanming’s sparse and natural style of poetry and composed a series of poems in harmony with Tao;he focused on learning from Huang Tingjian’s study of ancient and refined characters,and made good use of allusions to scripture and history;at the same time,he inherited Lü Benzhong’s "living method",and his poems were refined and full of variations.In terms of prose,he learned from Zeng Gong’s narrative technique of making sense,and he also inherited Wang Anshi’s thorough reasoning and vigorous style of writing.At the same time,his inscriptions developed Ouyang Xiu’s spirit of academic discernment and the style of short words and deep feelings.He studied under the Jiangxi school of poetry,and he was a great master of Jiangxi poetry,and he shared the same interests with Yang Wanli and Zhu Xi,the giants of Jiangxi literature.After he left Shu,he reflected on the Jiangxi poetry method.While studying the Jiangxi school of poetry,Lu You also got creative inspiration and inspiration from outside of poetry and forged his own great rhetoric.The remainder of the essay explores the attention of Jiangxi’s later scholars to Lu You.Lu You studied poetry in Jiangxi,served in Jiangxi,walked in Jiangxi,and interacted with Jiangxi cultural figures,which not only influenced his poetic creation,but also triggered the attention of Jiangxi’s later scholars to his research.We study Lu You’s official in Jiangxi poems from three perspectives:geographical,human and academic,examine the culture of Jiangxi in Song Dynasty along Lu You’s travels,and clarify the creative outlook and characteristics of Lu You at specific stages.Finally,from the angle of influence research to understand the profound influence of Song Dynasty Jiangxi literary world on Lu You,to Lu You’s entire creative experience,Jiangxi’s servant experience is meaningful to him.
