Korea as a country of Chinese character circle, its language has borrowed a lot of ancient Chinese vocabulary during its development, and these words are called " Sino-Korean word " which compose more than half of the words in Korean. The existence of these Chinese words gives Korean students certain advantages in learning Chinese. However, since the morphology, meanings, and usage of Sino-Korean words are not completely equivalent to those of modern Chinese words,Korean students unconsciously follow Korean usage habits in the process of using Chinese words, resulting in many cases of misuse. That is to say, while Chinese words have a positive impact on Korean Chinese learners, they also have a great negative impact. Therefore, the key to solving the problem of teaching Korean vocabulary is to deal with the misuse of Chinese words by Korean students. In view of this, this paper uses the “HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus”and the “Global Chinese Mediated Corpus” as the sources to summarize and organize Korean students’ errors caused by the influence of Sino-Korean words.Based on this,we take contrastive analysis and error analysis as our theoretical basis, and a questionnaire to Korean students was used to compare and contrast Sino-Korean words and modern Chinese vocabulary to understand the similarities and differences. Finally, based on the analysis of Korean students’ biases influenced by Sino-Korean words, the paper concludes that Korean students’ biases are mainly caused by the differences in word meanings, word forms, word properties, usage, and word collocations between Sino-Korean words and their Chinese counterparts. Therefore, based on the perspective of Sino-Korean words, this paper proposes some teaching countermeasures such as using the contrast method, contextual method, and phased teaching to improve the efficiency when teaching Chinese vocabulary to Korean students.
