A Practice Report On The Simulated Simultaneous Interpreting Of The Documentary Animal Odd Couples

Taking the second episode of the documentary as the material of simulated simultaneous interpreting,the author combines the interpretive theory with difficulties of simulated interpreting through pre-task,while-task and post-task process,which aims to discuss the guiding role of the interpretive theory in interpreting practice.Meanwhile,the author offers appropriate version for confusing points of interpretation task by translation skills including,addition,deletion,syntactic linearity and free translation.Based on different situations,the author chooses proper translation strategies and skills,which aims to find out problems and solve them while composing this report.It could be for future reference for interpreters in interpretation practice.The author also wants to improve interpreting skills in all respects through this precious opportunity.
