Zhou Zuoren is an important figure in modern prose.He devoted his whole life to the creation and development of modern prose and made important contributions to the formation and development of Chinese modern prose.Studying Zhou Zuoren’s stylistic construction of modern prose can not only let us understand the formation of his prose style,but also see the process and direction of the essay",and the independent literary status of modern prose has also been widely recognized in this process.The concept of"informal essay" embodies the common influence of Chinese and foreign literary theories on modern Chinese prose.Zhou Zuoren’s construction of the "informal essay" style shows the process of "sinicization" of modern prose development."Essays on rainy days" and"essays on bitter tea" all have a unique charm of traditional art.In the 1930 s,when foreign literary theory had a great influence,and even the aesthetics of modern Chinese prose were based on Western aesthetics,Zhou of modern prose precipitated in the history of prose and prose concepts.Zhou Zuoren deepened his understanding of the categories of modern prose style in his interpretation of concepts such as
