Analysis On The Textures Writing Of Bartok’s Concerto For Orchestra

Bela Bartok(1881-1945)was a leader of Hungarian modern music and one of the outstanding musicians of the 20 th century.With his national,traditional and innovative style,he combined eastern European folk music with rich composition skills in the 20 th century,leaving a strong mark in the music history of the world.Concerto for Orchestra is one of Bartok’s late masterpieces.Through the analysis of the texture of this music,we can study the creation characteristics of Bartok,and even further study the creation characteristics of this period of music.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is a brief introduction of the composer and his works,including a basic introduction of Bartok himself and his Orchestra Concerto.The second part is the musical form structure diagram of the music work,which introduces the musical form structure of the five movements of Bartok’s Orchestra Concerto,and then understands the structure of the whole music work.The third part analyzes the texture types of Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra,listing the corresponding types and characteristics of melody,harmony,polyphonic counterpoint,bass,sustaining note texture;the fourth part is based on the analysis of several texture types in the third part,and further analyzes how they are woven and reflected in this work,so as to have a more thorough understanding of the texture writing method used in Bartok’s Orchestra Concerto.In the fifth part,after understanding the texture types used by Bartok,the relationship between these texture types and musical form structure is analyzed and summarized.The sixth part focuses on the analysis of the role of texture types used by Bartok in shaping musical images,and summarizes its use methods.This paper based on Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra texture writing analysis,summarizes the work of creation style characteristics,creation,and the differences between the texture of this work and other works,through study the similarities and differences among the different texture we can study for the Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra which compose style deeper understanding.At the same time,it also has practical guiding significance for the creation of orchestral works today.
