The Study On Narrative Structure Of Domestic Suspense Films In The New Century

In recent years,with stylized audio-visual language and unique narrative conception,Domestic suspense films have gradually entered the public field of vision and gained a lot of attention.At the same time,the growth of the number of film creation and distribution and the expansion of audience groups have also made domestic suspense movies flourish,with the emergence of many excellent films.This paper selects 20 representative domestic suspense films since the 21 st century,analyzes their characteristics in narrative structure from two aspects of story structure and narrative structure.The purpose is to understand the narrative mode of domestic suspense films and provide a new idea for the research of domestic suspense films.There are five chapters in this article.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the purpose,significance and the research trends of domestic and foreign suspense films and Propp story morphology methods,and points out that this research mainly analyzes the narrative structure of domestic suspense films through literature research,text close reading method and summary induction.The second chapter summarizes the domestic suspense films and the theory of story morphology.In terms of domestic suspense films,it mainly determines the scope of research objects and distinguishes and defines the concept of "suspense films".On the basis of concept definition,it expounds the development of domestic suspense films from New China to the present.In terms of story morphology,it mainly introduces the theory.On this basis,this chapter focuses on the applicability of story morphology theory to the text of domestic suspense films.The third chapter analyzes the characters classification,characteristics,action circle and appearance mode of domestic suspense films,and summarizes seven constant roles of domestic suspense films,among which the victim,the perpetrator and the puzzle solver are the most important three roles.The respective characteristics and functions of these roles make their action circle present a complex form,from which we can almost intuitively observe the wandering of human nature between good and evil,and then trigger deep thinking on human nature.The fourth chapter summarizes the 21 functions through the move analysis of domestic suspense films.The number of these functional items is not fixed,and the order is also variable.It is the instability of the number and order of functional items that leads to the complexity of the analysis process,which provides inspiration for the creator in the setting of suspense.The fifth chapter analyzes the narrative structure of domestic suspense films on the basis of the first two chapters,points out that domestic suspense films are mainly based on nonlinear narrative structure,analyzes the nonlinear narrative structure from the two aspects of narrative time and narrative structure combined with specific examples,and finally summarizes the advantages of nonlinear narrative structure in the application of domestic suspense films.The conclusion part is the summary and reflection of this paper,hoping that the development and creation of suspense films in the future can be from the story level To study the setting of suspense and create more excellent works.
