With the gradual deepening of Chinese learning, after mastering more vocabulary and grammar, the sentences they write are grammatical.Sometimes they will give people a sense of incoherence, which is a discourse bias, which should attract enough attention in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Thailand is a country with relatively strong promotion of Chinese language,China and Thailand are closely linked in trade, and the Chinese market is an important part of Thailand’s tourism industry, and more and more Thais are learning Chinese, which is of great significance to the study of discourse bias of intermediate and advanced Chinese learners in Thailand. The discourse bias of intermediate and advanced Chinese learners in Thailand is analyzed from two aspects:articulation bias and coherence, and the frequency of articulation bias is higher than that of coherence bias, and discourse bridging teaching should attract the attention of teachers.Among cohesion errors, reference errors occur the most frequently, followed by logical connective errors, punctuation errors and lexical cohesion errors should also be paid attention to.In the specific classification, the misuse of connectives, misuse between pronoun referents and zero-form referents, and lexical similarity bias are the most common, and missing connectives, redundant indications of referents, and inconsistent personal referents are the types of bias that occur the least often.Among coherence bias, semantic coherence bias accounts for the majority, while situational context coherence bias accounts for a smaller proportion. The reasons for the discourse bias of Thai intermediate and advanced Chinese learners include the negative transfer of Thai language such as Thai using nouns to refer to others and themselves, personal pronoun referents and excessive generalization of zero-form referents. To this end, teachers should combine context and culture to teach discourse to mak e it easier for students to understand and confuse words;Optimize the process of teaching writing, grading and commenting;Comparing Chinese and Thai languages makes it easier for students to distinguish the different uses of the two languages and grasp Chinese language habits more effectively. For students studying Chinese in Thailand, they should make full use of online resources outside of class to create a learning environment for learning Chinese. The arrangement of writing classes in schools is adapted to students’ Chinese level, which is conducive to students’ Chinese learning, and discourse teaching should run through all stages of Chinese learning. As one of the tools for students to learn Chinese, textbooks should appropriately arrange the content of discourse teaching in writing textbooks in the intermediate and advanced stages.
