A Practice Report On The E-C Mock Interpretation Of The International Conference Themed Human Mobility And Climate Action Based On The UMEER Framework

The author selected the international online conference themed "Human Mobility and Climate Action" held by UNITAR(U.N.Institute for Training and Research)CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center as the material for mock interpretation practice,and acted as the interpreter in this conference.This is an E-C mock interpretation practice report,which is analyzed on the base of the author’s interpreting experience and the four-dimensional analysis framework(Understanding,Memorizing,Expression and Emergency Response)proposed by Li Changshuan.The first chapter introduces the background and the interpretation process.The second chapter mainly analyzes the UMEER framework,including the theory and the current domestic research on it.In the third chapter,the author discusses the application of this fourdimensional framework and give some examples during the practice.In addition,the author also explores some case analysis with misinterpretation and wrong interpretation,and put forward the corresponding solutions.The fourth chapter is the overall summary of the practice,concluding the advantages of this interpretation practice for the author’s self-improvement.Moreover,the author makes a self-examination,clarifies the striving direction,and points out the shortcomings of this article.
