| Under the influence of the patriarchal clan system,the idea of "family orientation" flourished in the traditional Chinese feudal society.At the same time,many ethical principles were derived from the idea of being family-oriented.These ethical principles embody the codes of conduct and values practiced by family members.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Chinese capitalism spelt out,and the commodity economy in Jiangnan area flourished,and the economy in Huizhou area was unprecedentedly active with the rise of merchant groups.In the middle and late Ming Dynasty,Huizhou merchants became the business group with the most abundant assets.The success of Huizhou merchants is inseparable from their rich Confucian ethical culture,and the academic circles discuss more about the ethical research of such business groups as Hui merchants,In the traditional Chinese family-oriented society,as the root soil of business ethics--"family" ethics is ignored.Huizhou merchants’ commercial glory is inseparable from business ethics,and business ethics is inseparable from the soil support of "family" ethics.Influenced by Confucianism,the "family" ethics based on Xin ’an Neo-Confucianism provided spiritual guarantee for the prosperity and development of Huizhou merchants.The Bao clan migrated to Huizhou during the Jin Taikang period and settled down as descendants of the famous historical figure Bao Shuya.The origin of Huizhou merchants mainly benefited from the reform of salt industry,also known as salt merchants.Bao Zhidao and his son of bao clan are the most famous salt merchants,so this paper selects Bao clan as a case study.By analyzing the ethical practice of"family" of Baoshi clan as a miniature of Huizhou merchants,this paper studies the ethics of "family" of Huizhou merchants,in order to build modern enterprise culture,the formation of ethical values,building urban agglomeration economic circle to find reference significance.The thesis consists of an introduction,four chapters and a conclusion.This paper explores the "family" ethics of Hui merchants by selecting the typical representative clan of Bao clan in Ming and Qing Dynasties,which started with salt transportation,in order to make a little contribution to the study of "family" ethics of huizhou merchants.The first chapter discusses the background of huizhou merchants’ "family" ethics in Ming and Qing Dynasties.This paper mainly introduces the natural environment,human environment and economic policy of "home" ethics.The second chapter discusses the general situation of Bao’s clan and its ethical life,mainly from the origin of Bao’s family name,migration,in the "family" ethical life practice of two aspects.The third chapter discusses the specific content and thought of bao clan’s"family" ethics,mainly from ultimate values,family management,business management,bao’s female four aspects of the "family" ethics are introduced.The fourth chapter discusses the historical value of hui merchants’ "family"ethics and its influence on modern times,mainly from its positive influence,historical limitations,reference to private enterprises,and reference to the construction of urban economic circle.In the end,the author summarizes the general situation of "family" ethics of Huizhou merchants. |
