| Chinese culture has existed for thousands of years,and there are countless excellent and splendid cultures.There is a special folk color sculpture art "mud dog" in Huaiyang,Henan Province.With the development of the times,the "mud dog" in Huaiyang area exists as a folk toy,and its original totem and reproductive worship gradually disappear with the people’s ideological liberation.However,its unique artistic style and the spirit of yearning for a better life have been inherited.In the contemporary era,how to update and create the dross at the cultural level is the node for the survival of Huaiyang mud dog.Therefore,the author determined the research on the image derivative design of traditional color sculpture "mud dog" as the research topic.This paper mainly analyzes the artistic form and spiritual needs of "mud dog" and the difficulties faced by "mud dog" in the current era,and takes this as the starting point to determine the application value of "mud dog" image derivative design in modern design combined with the material conditions and fashion trend of contemporary design.Through field visits and the collection of relevant materials,combined with the product trend and modern design techniques of contemporary design,and relying on the rich cultural connotation of "mud dog",the author artistically processes the unique visual characteristics of "mud dog" from appearance image,color language and image mode.Explore new design methods to improve the inherent impression of "mud dog",take contemporary non-material design as the basis,and use contemporary industrial conditions to implement it into specific product design,so as to make "mud dog" present in a new visual way.The "mud dog" not only exists as a toy for folk children,but also adapts to diversified needs and various scenes,so as to better carry forward Huaiyang intangible cultural heritage.It can not only find a way to revitalize traditional culture in line with the development of contemporary culture,but also provide reference for traditional folk art in other parts of China and explore a new road for the development of folk art. |
