A Study On Grammar-Rhetoric Means In Du Fu’s Qilv

Du Fu’s Qilv are the pearl of Chinese traditional culture due to using consummate skills.It is grammatically conscious for Du Fu to compose Qilv.Du Fu’s Qilv are so well-written poems that academia and people are concerned.This dissertation aims to explore the grammarrhetoric means of Du Fu’s Qilv that it can guide reading and re-creation of poetry.This dissertation systematically studies the rhetorical features and effects of Du Fu’s Qilv that contains 152 poems by the means of exhaustive statistics from the perspective of linguistics.The innovations of the study can be summarized as follows:The innovation of research perspective is that the grammar-rhetoric of Du Fu’s Qilv were systematically investigated by means of combination of grammar and rhetoric from the morphological level,syntactic level and textual level.The innovation of analytical approach is that this dissertation paves a new way for the research on main grammar-rhetoric means in poetry.Rather,it has discussed synthetically the interactions of some kinds of types about the rhetorical strategies.This dissertation paves a new way for the classification of the textual structural pattern.There is,in addition,the description of the textual structural types and the induction of textual cohesive function of the function words in Du Fu’s Qilv.The first chapter is the introduction section.There is a review of the existing research results in the grammar-rhetoric of Du Fu’s Qilv and the analysis the shortcomings of these researches involved morphology-rhetoric,syntax-rhetoric and textual rhetoric.In the existing studies,the study on grammar-rhetoric means of Du Fu’s Qilv with a more systematic and fullscale way based on the exhaustive method is so limited.The second chapter is the morphology-rhetoric study of Du Fu’s Qilv.By the means of exhaustive statistics and analysis,this part make a description of the morphology-rhetoric strategies of Du Fu’s Qilv from the reduplication rhetoric level and the the conversion rhetoric level.The reduplication rhetoric can be divided into four categories,the conversion rhetoric is also the same.The third chapter is the syntax-rhetoric study of Du Fu’s Qilv.By the statistical analysis on the sentence pattern of Du Fu’s Qilv,this part make a detailed exposition of the syntaxrhetoric strategies of Du Fu’s Qilv includes the inverted sentence,the elliptical sentence,the contracted sentences,the coherent sentences and so on.The fourth chapter is the textual rhetoric study of Du Fu’s Qilv.This part constructs the classification system for the textual structure of the partial pattern and makes a comprehensive analysis and interpretation.At the same time,the textual cohesive function of the function words is summarized into two points which include the textual continuation and the textual turn.It explains the rhetorical effect of function words in the textual structure which can sew it up.The conclusion summarizes the research results on the rhetorical characteristics and rhetorical effects of the grammar phenomenon of Du Fu’s Qilv in terms of morphology-rhetoric,syntax-rhetoric and textual rhetoric.It can be summarized as the three aspects.The first is the richness for using the morphology-rhetoric in Du Fu’s Qilv.There are 60 reduplications and 49 conversions in the poems that greatly enhances the expression of the poetic language and optimizes the arrangement of the poetic structure.The second is the flexibility for using syntaxrhetoric in Du Fu’s Qilv.The inversion of sentence elements includes subject-predicate inversion,verb-object inversion,preposition-object inversion,and special inversion.The ellipsis of sentence elements includes that leaving out subject,predicate verb,object,the center word in modifier word group,attribute,preposition,and conjunction.The contracted sentences and the coherent sentences is complement each other in the form and function.The interreaction of various sentence patterns makes the discourse well-balanced.The third is the rationality for arrangement of the textual structural rhetoric.On the basis of the actual text and the related theories,the classification system for the textual structure has been constructed "four-part pattern","three-part pattern"," two-part pattern" and "linear pattern",and the textual cohesive function of the function words has been summarized as "textual continuation" and "textual turn".
