A Report On The Translation Of Fintech Text From The Perspective Of Eco-Translatology

In recent years,blockchain has become one of the areas of interest on the global internet.New technological infrastructures such as blockchain and cloud computing,artificial intelligence,the Internet of Things and big data are now being cross-innovated.More and more scholars are focusing on the study of blockchain texts,and as a result,translation related to blockchain technology has become an emerging area of translation research.Eco-translatology is a new translation theory put forward by Chinese native scholar Hu Gengshen in 2001.This theory advocates giving full play to the translator’s centeredness and considering the whole translation system which is included natural environment such as language and text and unnatural environment such as translator and reader in translation standards;In terms of translation methods,it is guided by the three-dimensional transformation theory.In the linguistic dimension,adaptive selection and transformation will be adopted;In the cultural dimension,there is a need for greater concentration on the transmission of cultural connotation behind the two languages;In the communicative dimension,it pays attention to the realization of communication intention.This practical report takes Chapter 2 in Blockchain Technology for Industry 4.0 as the research object,and explores the translation of fintech text by using the three dimension transformation of Eco-translatology theory as the guide.The author analyzes the translation strategies of different dimension in detail:(1)In the linguistic dimension,the transformation of language forms such as terms,abbreviations,tables,nominalization structure,passive voice and long and difficult sentences should be the center of attention;(2)In the cultural dimension,it focuses on the preservation of the source language culture and the prominence of the target language culture;(3)In the communicative dimension,the transformation of communicative dimension is realized through translation skills such as amplification,negative word translation and division.Through the above case analysis,this study systematically discusses the guiding role of Eco-translatology in fintech text.This study shows that in the translation process under the guidance of Eco-translatology theory,Eco-translatology gives full play to its guiding role.Fintech text translation based on three-dimensional transformation not only helps to clarify the expression of the source text and improve the translation quality of Fintech text,but also fully helps the application of Ecotranslatology theory in practice,contributing to the development and practice of ecological translation theory.
