On The Age And Stages Of Shixia Cultural Cemetery At Shixia Site

Shixia site is located in the north of Guangdong Province,about 1.5 kilometers south of MABA,and about 2.5 kilometers northeast of MABA town.The second cultural relics of Shixia site,namely Shixia culture,is a representative archaeological culture of the late Neolithic Age in Lingnan area.The funerary objects in Shixia cemetery mainly include tripod plate,tripod,circle foot plate,etc.The absolute age is about 4600 ～ 4200 years ago.Firstly,it summarizes the excavation area of Shixia cemetery,the total number of excavated tombs and burial customs,as well as the overlapping relationship between Shixia cemetery.Then,using the method of combining stratigraphy and typology,the typical artifacts unearthed in Shixia cemetery are studied,and the variation law of artifacts is obtained.Shixia cemetery is divided into three phases and six groups.On the basis of staging,the layout of Shixia cemetery is discussed.Taking the stages of Shixia cultural tombs at Shixia site as the standard,this paper also analyzes the age of other Shixia cultural sites with more unearthed artifacts.Compare other typical Shixia cultural sites with more unearthed artifacts,such as Huangtan Temple site in Lianping County,fuchunling site in Renhua,Fanling cemetery in Qujiang bed,etc.with Shixia cemetery,so as to judge the time relationship between them.
