A Study On The Uyghur Translation Of A Dream Of Red Mansions From The Perspective Of Cognitive Translation Studie

As a new translation research paradigm,cognitive translation advocates combining the theoretical principles and research methods of cognitive linguistics to carry out translation research.Based on the theory of cognitive translation,this paper analyzes the Uyghur version of A Dream of Red Mansions,and discusses how to make cognitive transformation centered on the cognitive subject,and combine cognitive products with cognitive processes,so as to achieve a similar cognitive experience for the original readers and the target readers.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into three chapters: the introduction includes the research background,research purpose and significance,research status,research methods and corpus sources of cognitive translation at home and abroad,combs the relevant research threads of predecessors through diachronic induction,and discusses the intention and feasibility of this topic;The first chapter mainly summarizes the six translation principles of cognitive translatology,aiming at paving the way for the corpus analysis of the Uighur version of A Dream of Red Mansions.The second chapter systematically analyzes a series of translation principles involved in the selection of text language in the Uyghur version of A Dream of Red Mansions by using cognitive translatology,and illustrates how to translate the translation in Uyghur from the perspective of cognitive translatology.The third chapter analyzes A Dream of Red Mansions from the perspective of cognitive translation,including translation strategies and methods;Conclusion is the main discovery and research deficiency of this paper.From the perspective of cognitive translatology,based on cognitive subject,source language,target language,two real worlds and two cognitive worlds,this paper probes into the cognitive operation of translators in the process of translation,mainly analyzing the embodiment of translation experience,multiple interactivity,creativity,textuality,harmony and the six principles of "two worlds" in the Uyghur version of A Dream of Red Mansions.Therefore,it is found that cognitive translation has a strong applicability to the Uyghur translation analysis of this book.At the same time,when discussing translation strategies and translation methods,the following conclusions are drawn: foreignization strategies are based on experience and prominence,and are transformed into usage that conforms to the target language translation through the retention of metacognition and the addition of information prominence,which improves the fitness of the aesthetic participation of the target language,and is mainly reflected by the Uyghur translation methods of mapping preservation and mapping prominence,while domestication strategies highlight attention and retain the characteristics of the target language to test and enrich cognitive translation theory,mainly by mapping transplantation.Translation is a complex cognitive activity that tends to cognition,consciousness and emotion.This paper holds that it is necessary to properly handle cognitive differences in translation.Translators need to deconstruct and construct the meaning of the split and reorganization of the source language based on cognition,aesthetics and culture,so as to make it conform to the cognitive understanding of the target language readers.In addition,cognitive theory can be applied not only to novel translation,but also to other types of text translation.
