The Application Of Print Art Language In The Public Space Of "Chongqing Hardware Park"

With the development of society and the progress of science and technology,culture and art are developing towards the trend of diversification,and the art of printmaking has also undergone great changes.The earliest appearance of block printing is for the dissemination of information,directly or indirectly affects the development of human society and brings great convenience to human beings.The emerging woodcut movement initiated by Lu Xun began to create printmaking,which weakened its practical performance and gradually became a painting art for people to appreciate and collect art.In recent years,printmaking artists have made different attempts.How to develop printmaking more effectively is still a problem worth thinking about.Art creators should give full play to their talents and apply art to urban and rural construction to serve people’s life needs.Social development has entered the era of Internet communication,print creation will undergo great changes both in concept and techniques.This paper discusses the feasibility of using the artistic language of printmaking in public space and its future development direction.This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of public space and the concept of printmaking art language and its extension,and the advantages of printmaking art language’s intervention in public space,including the advantages for citizens,culture,cities,and more importantly,for the development of printmaking.Through understanding the historical source of hardware culture and the current situation of modern development,as well as the different functions carried by different points in the park,chongqing hardware Park as the theme of print creation.According to the environmental distribution of the park,the creative content and expression form should meet the needs of functional zoning and people’s aesthetic needs as far as possible.In this paper,I choose the form of integrated material printmaking for creation.Its artistic expression is unique.In addition to the characteristics of other printmaking,it also has more possibilities.Compared with other prints,composite prints are more open and free,with a wider choice of materials and richer and diverse effects in material impressions.Its special nature determines that it can bring infinite reverie and rich creativity.Then the author describes the visual presentation of the theme in the creation process,the use of media and techniques,modeling and space control.This paper analyzes the expressive significance of graphic decomposition and recombination to cutting and collage recreation in the process of creation,as well as the narrative processing of pictures and the grasp of personal painting style.The printmaking art language is applied to the guide system of Chongqing Hardware Park and the historical nodes of kilometer verandas to tell the history and future development trend of hardware to the tourists in the way of combination of pictures and texts.The printmaking art should be positioned at multiple levels,and the spread of printmaking should be expanded by using the language of printmaking art reasonably and effectively so as to make it develop better.Printmaking art language is applied to the functional theme public space to interact with the public,so as to achieve the mutual integration and common development of art and culture.
