| Homework is an extension of classroom teaching and an indispensable part of teaching links.The research on homework at home and abroad has long existed,and some mature theories have been formed.In the graduate class,the importance of homework can not be ignored,but there is less research on the homework of MTCSOL,and there are still some fields worthy of exploration and research.This thesis takes the homework of MTCSOL as the research object,probes into its current situation and existing problems,obtains the first-hand information of the current situation of homework assignment of MTCSOL,and hopes to provide some reference for the improvement of homework of MTCSOL graduates.This thesis mainly collects the extracurricular homework of the first semester of the first academic year for the 2020 graduate students majoring in International Chinese Education in university in Shandong,and describes the basic situation from the aspects of assignment frequency,content,form,requirements,quantity,difficulty,feedback and evaluation of extracurricular homework.In addition,this thesis uses questionnaire and interview methods to investigate and interview the graduate students and their teachers in the major of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The survey and interview are mainly carried out from the following three aspects: first,the overall attitude and view of teachers and students towards extracurricular homework;Second,teachers and students’ attitude towards the assignment of homework,including the amount of homework,homework difficulty,homework form,etc.;The third is the attitude and view of teachers and students towards the inspection and feedback of extracurricular homework.It is found that there are some problems in the extracurricular homework of master students majoring in teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages.The main problems are as follows:some teachers and students do not have a comprehensive understanding of the extracurricular homework,poor homework awareness and incorrect attitude;The forms and feedback methods of extracurricular homework preferred by students do not match those assigned and feedback methods by teachers;Insufficient follow-up inspection and low utilization rate;The amount of work and the difficulty of the work is inappropriate and so on.On the basis of the analysis of the above problems,this paper further puts forward some suggestions to improve extracurricular homework,including: strengthening teachers and students’ awareness of extracurricular homework,correct attitude;Optimize the assignment of homework,scientific design of homework quantity and difficulty;Enrich the form of extracurricular homework;Clarify the requirements for extracurricular work;Layering assignments;Improve inspection and evaluation,timely and effective inspection feedback operations,feedback methods diversified;Increase follow-up inspection,improve operation utilization;The feedback method should be adjusted according to the characteristics of students,etc. |
