| As one of the five rites of life,wedding occupies a very important position in the course of individual life.Holding a wedding ceremony not only represents the connection of two couples,but also represents the connection of two families and even families.Different ethnic groups and countries have their unique wedding ceremonies in different historical periods.As an important part of ethnic culture,it develops with the changes of The Times.The wedding ceremony contains many social,ethnic and cultural elements.Hongqi Village of Xianghai Mongolian Township was named as the second group of minority villages in Jilin Province.The wedding ceremony shows the rich and diverse traditional culture of the ethnic group,carrying the unique ethnic character,value judgment,aesthetic concept and other spiritual connotation of the Mongolian people.Therefore,this paper takes the Mongolian wedding ceremony in Hongqi Village,Xianghai Mongolian Township as the research object.From the perspective of interpretive anthropology,it obtains first-hand information through participant observation and interview in field investigation,and combing the obtained information with literature analysis and deep tracing.In this part,Goertz’s "deep description" theory is used to describe the traditional and contemporary wedding ceremonies of the local Mongolian ethnic group in detail.At the same time,Van Genep’s "transition ceremony" theory is used to analyze the transformation of individual social roles in the wedding ceremonies of the Mongolian ethnic group.The main part of this paper connects the change of wedding ceremony with the general background of social change,Outlines the context of Xianghai Mongolian wedding ceremony in the past half a century,uses the theory of cultural change to try to explain how the traditional wedding customs in memory are lost in the real wedding ceremony,and further analyzes the reasons for the change of Mongolian wedding ceremony.It is found that the change factors mainly involve the infiltration of state power,the improvement of economic level,the influence of foreign culture and the change of local people’s ideas.At the same time,in the last part of the article for the change of the status quo of Mongolian wedding ceremonies to provide reasonable suggestions for the development and protection of their traditional marriage customs.In general,the study on the wedding ceremony of the Mongolian ethnic group in Hongqi Village,Xianghai Mongolian Township,to a certain extent,can provide a certain reference for other scholars to explore the cultural status quo of the Mongolian ethnic group and understand the differences in the cultural forms between different ethnic groups.At the same time,it can also be a good reflection on the contemporary wedding ceremony. |
