According to Marx recognition theory, recognition relations are essentially reflected in the production relations of society.Marx,as a philosopher who realized ideals, shifted the concept of recognition from the realm of ethics in general to the realm of economics. In the logic of the capitalist system, human beings are in a relationship of alienated recognition. In this regard, through his critique of capitalist alienated labor,Marx profoundly revealed that the alienation recognition of capitalism is a false, hypocritical, incomplete, and dehumanized intersubjective relationship, which restricts the full freedom of human beings. This alienated recognition of capitalism is precisely what Marx’s theory of recognition seeks to criticize. Thus,Marx fully revealed the nature of the recognition of capitalist alienation.Marx went on to establish the communist recognition theory of the struggle for liberation, and put forward the struggle for non-alienated recognition, and Marx recognized that the goal of the theory from beginning to end was the liberation of mankind, the recognition and realization of the free nature of man.Marx’s theory of communist recognition is a renunciation of capitalist alienation. In the analysis of the recognition of capitalist alienation,Marx proposed a way to overcome the alienated recognition of capitalism by criticizing the four manifestations of capitalist alienated labor and developing a deep critique of the capitalist credit system. The goal of Marx’s struggle for liberation was clear: he believed that a critique of political economy could offer an alternative to capitalist relations of production, and that the positive elements of human emancipation could only be found in communism. The recognition theory of communism is not on paper, but embodied in a critique of capitalism. That is to say,Marx never neglected the critique of the mode of production in capitalist society in his critique of political economy, and he profoundly pointed out the fact that capitalist society is alienated on the issue of recognition. The first part of this article introduces the multiple meanings of the concept of recognition, discusses Hegel’s theory of recognition as the theoretical source of Marx’s theory of recognition, the second part discusses in detail Marx’s inheritance and criticism of Hegel’s theory of recognition, and the third part focuses on Marx’s concept of recognition, discussing the alienation of the alienated labor and credit system produced by the capitalist society revealed and criticized by Marx, and Marx’s overcoming of the "alienated recognition" of capitalism. Finally, the concluding remarks discuss the contemporary significance of Marx’s recognition of theory.
