| Painters often use the concepts of "loose" and "tight" to describe the picture relationship in their works.however,there is no unified definition of what is loose and what is tight.This is also the author’s confusion in the study of ink characters.This paper attempts to collect the opinions of the public,to define it,to clarify its connotation and extension,and to talk about the understanding of tension and tightness from the two aspects of composition and lines in figure painting.Then through the analysis of the classic works to see the "loose" and "tight" contrastive relationship in the composition and lines,in order to prove its existence.The point of view of this paper is that "loose" and "tight" are mainly reflected in the modeling of ink characters from two aspects: the virtual and solid of the lines,the density,the length,the straight and the composition.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part mainly expounds the author’s understanding of the relationship between "loose" and "tight";the second part mainly analyzes the performance of "loose" and "tight" in famous paintings.The third part is the author’s application of "loose" and "tight" in practice.The fourth part is the summary of the full text. |
