| As the first of the Chinese Scriptures,,The Great Learning is a work that cannot be ignored in Chinese excellent traditional culture.For a long time,scholars have been interpreting it from different perspectives,and the intrinsic value of the text of The Great Learning has also been continuously enriched and elucidated.In the middle and late Ming Dynasty,some scholars gradually abandoned the way of "Zhu Xue",Yangming’s "School of Mind" has become a trend in this period,but Yangming’s "School of Mind" lead people to another extreme easily.In order to get rid of the drawbacks of empty talk of "School of Mind",some visionary people advocate the study of practical application,truth-seeking and pragmatism.In this academic atmosphere,the interpretation of Confucian classics has the characteristics of "practical".Gao Gong’s interpretation of The Great Learning is a representative work in this period.Gao Gong is the chief assistant of the Ming Dynasty,The academic circles have made a lot of research on his achievements in political reform,but his academic achievements has always been underestimated by the academic circles for a long time.His interpretation of the The Great Learning is very beneficial,but it has not attracted the interest and attention of the academic circles so far.Therefore,it is necessary to sort out and study Gao Gong’s interpretation of The Great Learning,which not only helps us to grasp the whole ideological context of Gao Gong and enrich the research on Gao Gong’s academic thoughts,but also helps us to feel the collision of classic texts and academic thoughts under different social backgrounds deeply.This article mainly starts from the different texts of Gao Gong’s ideological exposition of The Great Learning in the different periods:Ri Jin Zhi Jiang was written by Gao Gong as a lecturer for King Yu in the early period,Gao Gong focused on the elucidation the political ideas of the emperor’s self-cultivation and governance of the country.Although the relevant discussion have expressed his own opinions,it can be clearly seen that there are traces of "Zhu Xue".under the comprehensive influence of political experience and social background,the Wen Bian Lu written in his later years,his attitude towards "Zhu Xue" has changed in Wen Bian Lu.He proposed his own revision,and put the thought of practical application into his academics.He paid attention to domestic and foreign cultivation,opposed the empty style of study,and elaborated his new interpretation by refuting Zhu Xi’s annotations point by point.In the process of researching Gao Gong’s thought,This article paid attention to combining relevant literature,constructing Gao Gong’s philosophical concepts,sorting out his ideological context.By comparing the thought of Gao Gong with other scholars such as Zhu Xi and Wang YangMing,the changes and development of Gao Gong’s ideological connotation in different period are more clearly presented.This transformation reflects Gao Gong’s own academic characteristics.It also enriches the history of ideological interpretation of The Great Learning. |
