The Presentation Of Female Images In Chinese Commercial Comedy Films (2017-2022

With the development of social context,the role positioning and value of female characters in films have been further developed,giving rise to new cultural phenomena.Under the influence of the "She Era",the portrayal of female characters in Chinese comedy films reflects the mainstream ideology and cultural evolution.This paper summarizes the characteristics and changes of female images in Chinese commercial comedy films from2017 to 2022,and discusses the background,reasons,and cultural phenomena of their image construction.Firstly,the author analyzes the new changes in female images from the perspectives of individuals,groups,and society in commercial comedy films in China during this period,and summarizes and interprets the texts.Secondly,based on the above research,the author creates a Dissertation project "The leaves" with feminism as the core,incorporating elements of heartwarming realism and comedy.The author also summarizes the issues of image construction of the female protagonist in the scriptwriting,production,and post-production of the short film,and attempts to innovate the ways of constructing female images.Chapter 1 summarizes and analyzes the background and significance of the rise and development of feminist films,and outlines the methodology of this paper.Chapter2 explores the different representations of women in Chinese cinema and investigates the economic,historical,and cultural factors behind the construction of these images.Chapter 3delves into the relationship between women and comedy films by examining the inherent construction of female characters in Chinese commercial comedies.Chapter 4 focuses on the changes in female images in Chinese cinema and discusses the application of different elements in the inherent female image and female relationships in the graduation film "The leaves ".Chapter 5 summarizes the unique changes in female images in Chinese commercial comedy films over the past five years,and analyzes the new characteristics of female images used in "The leaves".Finally,starting from the Dissertation porject "Leaf",the author summarizes the driving forces and development space behind the changes in female images in commercial comedy films in recent years.
