Based on the subaltern as the research object constructed by the commercial film,this dissertation explores commercial films featuring the real life of the city,the image of the middle class and the life of subaltern.Through the close reading of the text,the use of cultural studies,ideology research,narrative theory and other research methods,this thesis practices basic characterization analysis of subaltern image constructed in commercial films and makes a thorough investigation of the power discourse structure behind the subaltern construction and the change of the social mainstream ideology reflected by it from the perspective of mainstream ideology of the society.In addition,through the exploration of the bottom image in commercial films and the intertextuality of the subaltern image in the independent documentary films,the thesis directly demonstrates the ideological adaptation of the subaltern image in commercial film.The purpose of this thesis is not to criticize the commercial discourse purely,but to explore the hidden ideology behind the commercial films by examining the real texts obscured by the commercial films.Overall,the bottom image construction in commercial films enriches the narrative discourse of commercial expression,but this expression distorts and obscures the real texts.However,it also provides a wealth of material for us to explore the changes of the mainstream ideology in the period of social transformation.
