A Study Of Tibetan Wedding Ceremony Music In Jiantang,Diqing

As one of the important social behaviors of human reproduction race gene and ensuring the continuation of ethnic population,marriage is an important part of individuals and families in the whole social life.In the long process of historical evolution,simple biological instinctive behavior has been gradually transformed into standardized ethnic activities with legal effects,and has gradually become a folk etiquette ritual that accumulates the essence of regional ethnic culture,and ritual as an important cultural carrier.Including music,dance,language,clothing,utensils,diet,belief and many other contents,through the study of ritual culture to reveal cultural laws from different disciplines,different levels,different perspectives has important academic research value.Jiantang Town,as a must-pass town on the Yunnan-Tibet Line of the Ancient Tea-Horse Road,has now become the location of the capital of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province,and one of the important Tibetan settlements in the whole Yunnan region.it is also an important gateway to the surrounding areas of Yunnan,Guizhou and Sichuan in the southwest of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,as well as bordering Naxi,Yi,Lisu and other ethnic areas.Therefore,the Tibetan marriage ceremony in Jiantang Town not only retains the relatively complete situation and content of Tibetan ancient ritual culture,but also absorbs or integrates the surrounding other ethnic cultures.It has become a special cultural carrier with Tibetan culture as the main body and different from other Tibetan areas,and has a very important academic research significance.This paper takes Jiantang Tibetan marriage ceremony music as the main research object,with the identity of cultural holders and the cultural experience of insiders,as well as the different perspectives of researchers and outsiders.By using the comprehensive methods of anthropology,folklore,musicology,linguistics and history,this paper makes a systematic and detailed analysis and explanation of the natural environment,cultural background,religious belief,folk etiquette and cultural function of the Tibetan marriage ceremony in Jiantang,Diqing.It also makes an in-depth and detailed analysis and research on the music classification,musical form structure,mode tonality,rhythm beat,melody form and lyrics content of Jiantang Tibetan marriage ceremony.This paper discusses the folk cultural behavior phenomenon and cultural concept of this research object from five aspects: natural environment and cultural background,wedding ceremony ceremony,marriage ceremony music,marriage ceremony utensils and costumes,and cultural interpretation of marriage ceremony.And it reflects the cultural significance and functions,and reveals the internal relations and cultural laws between them.
