| With her works,Bingxin sang an ode to the harmony of love and beauty.This harmony of love and beauty is the core idea of her works,and she used it to construct three worlds with different dimensions,namely the natural world,the real world and the ideal world.These three worlds with different dimensions also formed the three homes in her works: first,the natural home of universal love;second,the social home of love and harmony;third,the spiritual home full of love and beauty.This paper discusses these three aspects in chapters.Bingxin is a writer with a distinct personal style,which is summarized here as a kind of home consciousness.The term “home” originally refers to the material home as a real existence and the spiritual home as a spiritual existence,and in literature it generally refers to the latter,that is,the spiritual home constructed by the writer with words.The spiritual home is not only the spiritual world that belongs to the writer,but also the subjective reflection of the writer’s spiritual world to the external natural world and human society,and is the embodiment of the writer’s aesthetic taste and artistic ideal.Bingxin also took her own spiritual world as the starting point,incorporated nature and society,and constructed a spiritual home that is uniquely hers.The construction of the home consciousness cannot be separated from Bingxin’s "philosophy of love".Love and home have a natural semantic connection.The "philosophy of love" serves as a guide for the construction of the home consciousness,clearly distinguishes between the inside and the outside of the spiritual home.Inside the home,there is a world full of harmony of love and beauty,which is also the whole of the Bingxin’s world.Bingxin didn’t ignore the harsh reality,but consciously selected and transformed it.She first chose the best things in nature and humanity to fill her home,and she also treated the ugliness and suffering of society and humanity with feminine aesthetics to make them less sharp.This was not a form of self-deception,but a wise way of upholding the spirit.Love and beauty have always been what Bingxin eulogized.From the beauty of nature,Bingxin realized the intention of love poured into heaven and earth,and used the beauty of nature to stretch the spirit and comfort the suffering.From the social home,she extracted the love of humanity and the love of family and ethics,and used them as the spiritual force for social renewal.Finally,she returned to and adhered to the spiritual home,melted everything based on the spirit,and silently hold the social and human ideals of love and beauty.The idea of enlightenment is a basic starting point for us to understand the spirit of Bingxin’s literature.Her praise of human love and truth was based on the May Fourth "human awakening" and was a high affirmation of human subjectivity.The generosity of maternal love and the innocence of children were not only aesthetic in spirit,but also held Bingxin’s ideal of the soundness of modern humanity.Bingxin also put forward her own vision of female independence.Her ideal of a new feminine view of a good wife and mother was not only the embodiment of the spirit of enlightenment,but also the inheritance and accommodation of traditional culture.The natural,social and spiritual homes constructed by Bingxin have distinct national character and profound traditional cultural connotations.This is because she always cherished the spiritual connection with traditional culture,and paid attention to the absorption and melting of traditional cultural resources,thus achieving the continuity and innovation of tradition under the study and reference of Western enlightenment rationality.The harmony between Enlightenment rationality and traditional culture is achieved here.Bingxin’s imperfection is also a part of her.Her posture of spiritual retreat has somewhat expedient of worldly considerations,and her ideal of human purity is to some extent based on the transcendental world,presenting a certain conservative rejection of the rational spirit,thus becoming the existence of a castle in the air in the spirit.In this regard,Bingxin also consciously increased the realistic strength of her works in her subsequent literary career.Bingxin’s literature directly refers to the spiritual foundation of human literature and is an incomparably precious spiritual heritage of national culture. |
