Research On Sound Narration Of Documentary

In recent years,with the development and progress of social economy and the improvement of people’s demand for cultural life,various types of documentaries continue to appear.Documentaries can objectively record history and social development,and play a very important role in guiding current and future production and life.Documentary is the product of audio-visual combination,in addition to the picture elements,sound plays an important role in the creation of documentary.The intervention of voice in documentaries starts from scratch and eventually becomes an important narrative element.Under the unification of human voice,music and sound,sound elements play an important role in shaping characters and expressing emotions,providing a better means of expression for the artistic development of documentaries.This thesis comprehensively analyzes the basic knowledge of film and television science,narrate science,communication science and so on,tries to integrate the sound landscape theory with the sound narration of documentary,and through case analysis,comparative research and field investigation,discusses the application of sound narration in documentary,in order to obtain a deeper understanding.After a thorough understanding of the research status of Chinese documentary sound narrative,the first part of the thesis defines the connotation of documentary sound narrative,and sorts out the development of sound narrative.The second part of the sound narrative construction in the record,through the effective transmission of landscape sound and emotion to achieve the narrative function,combined with relevant documentary works to in-depth interpretation of the narrative perspective and structure,the relationship between time and space,to form a complete sound narrative system.In the third part,the cultural expression of sound narration is discussed from two aspects:the auditory representation,the rendering of inner meaning,and the creation of sound landscape.The sound narration is regarded as an important way of cultural practice,and a relatively complete narrative representation system is established.The fourth part is the sound narrative analysis of the author’s graduation work "Life of Strings",mainly from the aspects of narrative background and content,narrative sound,narrative techniques and so on,consciously select sound elements to construct narrative sequence,present diversified expression of sound,and create and reflect on the filming process of the work.Through the research and analysis of documentary sound narration,it can be seen that the artistic expression of sound elements has certain theoretical and practical significance in documentary creation,and provides some experience and reference for other documentary creators.
