| In recent years,the economic value of Chinese language has continued to rise,the overseas demand for learning Chinese as a second language is increasing either.However,the existing researches and theories mainly focus on "how to teach" and generally ignore the core problem of "what to teach".In terms of cultural teaching,it is reflected in the lack of innovation in the teaching content of cultural courses and the low attention paid to regional culture.Integrating Zhuang folk music into Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in the form of cultural music classes,on the one hand,this thought can improve the attention of Zhuang folk music culture and provide new ideas for the inheritance and development of Zhuang folk music,on the other hand,it can innovate the teaching content of cultural courses and improve the overall quality of international Chinese teachers and enhance Chinese learners’ cognitive ability of Chinese Culture.This paper takes Thailand’s Phanatpittayakarn School as an example.Firstly,taking volunteers of international Chinese teachers in Thailand,Chinese teachers of Thai nationality,undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages were selected as subjects,investigate the application status of Zhuang folk music in international Chinese education.Based on that,integrate Zhuang folk music into Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages of Phanatpittayakarn School in Thailand in the form of music culture class.Questionnaire was designed to investigate the teaching feedback of Zhuang folk music from 146 learners in the Chinese Department of Phanatpittayakarn School,in order to provide practical suggestions for the integration of Zhuang folk music into Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.The study found that the Zhuang people and the Thai people in Thailand have many similarities in language and culture,folk culture,music culture,etc.In addition to basic Chinese learning,most schools in Thailand have added Chinese music culture courses to the curriculum.Secondly,Zhuang folk music has rich connotation,diversified teaching resources and complete types,including ving volunteers of international Chinese teachers in Thailand,Chinese teachers of Thai nationality,undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages are all positive about the integration of Zhuang folk music into Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.The final questionnaire shows that the students have improved their Chinese proficiency,deepened their understanding of the Zhuang ethnic group,and deepened their interest in learning Chinese in the process of learning Zhuang folk music.Therefore,it is feasible to integrate Zhuang folk music into Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. |
