The total number of Jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty was104,with the emergence of two cabinet leaders and secondary leaders,which had a significant impact on the court.This article takes the Jinshi of Nanyang Prefecture in the Ming Dynasty as the research object,exploring the interaction between the Jinshi of Nanyang Prefecture in the Ming Dynasty and the state and society.It is divided into four chapters.The first chapter studies the basic situation of the Jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty.By consulting a large amount of historical materials,the personal information and overall number of Jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty were organized and counted.The second chapter studies the spatiotemporal distribution of Jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty.In terms of time,it can be roughly divided into four stages: the initial period from Hongwu to Xuande,the low period from Zhengtong to Jingtai,the development period from Tianshun to Zhengde,and the decline period from Jiajing to Chongzhen.It presents a spatial distribution characteristic centered around the Nanyang Basin.The main reasons for this phenomenon are the interaction between society and the state in Nanyang during the Ming Dynasty,as well as the uneven economic development and cultural customs differences among various counties in Nanyang Prefecture.The third chapter studies the basic characteristics of the Jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty.During the Ming Dynasty,there were a large number of military jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture,and the Jinshi class had strong mobility.In the Ming Dynasty,the Jinshi families in Nanyang Prefecture accounted for a large proportion in the prefectures and counties,and there was a tendency towards the Jinshi family,mainly consisting of fathers,sons,or brothers.The fourth chapter studies the social contributions of the Jinshi in Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty.During the Ming Dynasty,the Jinshi of Nanyang Prefecture not only became enthusiastic about politics,but also made significant contributions in pacifying local bandits and resisting coastal Japanese pirates,as they emerged as two cabinet leaders and secondary leaders.During the Ming Dynasty,the Jinshi of Nanyang Prefecture achieved numerous ideological and cultural achievements,with the most influential being Li Xian’s "Gu Rang Ji",which represented the political philosophy of the Jinshi group of Nanyang Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty.
