Richard Wagner(1813-1883)stands proudly among the great German composers of the 19 th century as a "reformer of opera".In his prolific music writing career,he wrote a large number of operas,but the field of art song is rarely involved.As a result,the first reaction of a large number of vocal music scholars when they contact Wagner’s works is the opera full of dramatic colors,thus directly ignoring Wagner’s creative ability and achievements in the field of art songs.During the study,the author found that as an art song specially made for alto and piano,there was no literature to analyze and study it from the perspective of mezzo-soprano.Therefore,this paper will focus on Wagner’s Song of Wiesendonk from the perspective of mezzo-soprano as the main direction of research.Through consulting and collating relevant literature,this paper discusses the creation background and status of Wagner’s "The Song of Wiesendonk" by taking the characteristics of the mezzo-soprano part and the correlation between the melodies,melodies and emotional colors of the mezzo-soprano part as an entry point,and expounds and analyzes the relationship between the timbre and range of the mezzo-soprano part and many elements in the melodies.It is proved that this diverte is scientific and artistic as a mezzo-soprano part art song.In addition to the selection of the most representative fifth "dream"(Traume)as an example,the song of German pronunciation characteristics and songs need to pay special attention to the words to explain,and from the emotional expression,singing breath,cavity,skills and difficult points and artistic processing of many aspects of detailed analysis,explore together with everyone,also for the follow-up singer to provide some help.
