With the development of global economy,China has been more resilient in foreign trade in recent years.Interpretation,therefore,has become more important as the bridge and bond in international trade exchange.There are many problems in Chinese expressions that worth exploring during business meetings,one of which is running sentence interpreting.Running sentence is a unique sentence pattern in Chinese.How to deal with it has been an important issue in interpreting practice.This report,based on business meetings of Qingdao Tang Dynasty International Logistics Co.,Ltd,aims to analyze some problems in running sentence and find effective solutions.This report is Chinese-English consecutive interpretation.The interpreting of running sentence from Chinese to English is a main topic in this practice report.According to the category of running sentence,differences of Chinese-English pattern,differences of Chinese-English mentality,the difficulties in interpreting can be divided into three aspects,including subject loss,redundant information and some differences in sentence structure.Under the guidance of the Skopos Theory,the above three problems are analyzed and the corresponding solutions are proposed.Supplement of ingredient and change of sentence form can be used to solve subject loss.Reconstruction and omission are used to solve redundant information.Explicitness and implicitness can be used to solve differences in Chinese-English sentence structure.References are hoped to provide for the interpreting of running sentence in Chinese-English consecutive interpretation in the future.
