A Report On Simulating Inter-sentence Coherence In Chinese-English Consecutive Interpretation In "Another Me In The World" From The Perspective Of The Interpretive Theory

With the development of social economy and the change of people's life style in the 21st century,tourism has gradually changed from "luxury" to "necessities" in people's life,becoming more and more popular Tourism not only promotes exchanges between peoples of all countries,but also promotes the contact and development of various countries.Therefore,the author chose a very interesting travel documentary to simulate the transmission.The practice report is based on the practice of documentary simulation of"Another Me in the World",combined with the characteristics of Chinese-English interpretation,and from the perspective of the interpretive theory,it addresses the problems of loose discourse structure,too many impromptu expressions,and omission of discourse components.From the perspective of the interpretive theory,the corresponding solution strategies are proposed,namely reorganization method,incremental translation method and subtractive translation method,and the effectiveness and practical value of the selected strategy are discussed.Through the study of this simulated translation practice,it is hoped that it can effectively help relevant personnel to deepen their understanding of the theory of interpretation and provide reference for future interpretation practice.
