The role of the "double reduction" policy is to reduce the burden of education while improving quality and efficiency.Effective classroom management is an important condition for effective classroom teaching.In order to keep up with the pace of educational development,the reform of rural English classroom management is of great significance.This can not only improve the efficiency of rural English teaching,promote the high-quality development of rural education and teaching,but also meet the actual development needs of teachers and schools.This article takes Lianzhou B Middle School in Qingyuan City as the research object.The main research methods are questionnaire survey and interview methods.Through the analysis of the three dimensions of students’ classroom behavior management,classroom emotional management,and classroom goal management,as well as the four factors of student gender,grade,family background,and parents’ education,it is found that the management of English classrooms in rural junior high schools is affected by many factors.In the investigation and research,it is found that there are problems in English classrooms,such as the school’s lack of attention to classroom management,parents’ lack of awareness of classroom management,teachers’ inadequate classroom management ability,and students’ lack of awareness of classroom management.Therefore,this article looks for strategies to improve classroom teaching efficiency from four aspects: school,family,teacher and students.In terms of school management,strengthen the school’s emphasis on classroom management and further improve the school management mechanism.As far as family education is concerned,strive to obtain parents’ support for classroom management and strengthen the guiding role of family education in the growth of students.In terms of teacher management ability,deepen teachers’ understanding of classroom management and continuously improve their own education and teaching level to create efficient classrooms.As far as students’ self-study is concerned,stimulate their learning motivation,enhance their awareness of participating in classroom management,and assist teachers in co-management of the classroom to achieve the best classroom management effect.This research mainly improves English classroom management from these four aspects,in order to achieve the purpose of improving the quality of English teaching in rural junior high schools.
