With the rapid changes in the social environment, people generally face various setbacks and pressures. How to quickly recover from negative states determines whether people can maintain physical and mental health. Therefore, psychological resilience has attracted extensive attention from the academic community.Adolescence is a stage of rapid growth, and the development of psychological resilience plays a key role in safeguarding the physical, mental and social development of adolescents. In this context,in-depth investigation of the influencing factors of adolescents’ psychological resilience and exploration of strategies to cultivate adolescents’ psychological resilience have become a hot area of psychological resilience research.Existing studies mainly focus on the direct influence of surrounding environmental factors, such as the direct education of teachers and parents. This study believes that adolescents have the characteristics of active learning, and the surrounding environment may have a strong indirect influence, which has been ignored by the academic circle. Therefore, this study proposes to examine the influencing factors of adolescents’ psychological resilience from the perspective of indirect influence.Specifically, this study examines the influence of parental coping styles on adolescents’ resilience and the mediating role of self-efficacy.This study mainly adopts the questionnaire method, using the Simple Coping Style Questionnaire, the Self-Efficacy Scale and the Adolescent Resilience Scale to conduct cluster sampling surveys on students from 4 middle schools in Chengdu City and Luzhou City.A total of 2,300 questionnaires were sent out,2,208 valid questionnaires were recovered,122 invalid questionnaires were excluded, and 2,086 valid questionnaires were finally recovered, with the final effective questionnaire recovery rate of 90.70%.After descriptive statistical analysis, difference analysis, correlation analysis, mediation effect test and other statistical analysis of the data using SPSS,Mplus and other software, the following results were obtained:(1)Father’s positive coping(β =.31,p <.001)and mother’s positive coping(β=.15,p <.001)have a significant positive impact on self-efficacy,while father’s negative coping(β =-.06,p <.05)had a significant negative effect, while negative maternal coping(β =-.03,p >.05)had no significant effect on self-efficacy.(2)Self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on psychological resilience(β=.23,p <.001).(3)There is a significant mediating effect between father’s positive/negative coping style and psychological resilience. The indirect effect value of father’s positive coping style on psychological resilience is.12(SE =.01),and the 95% confidence interval is[.1,.15];the indirect effect value of father’s negative coping style on psychological resilience is-.03(SE =.01),with a 95% confidence interval of [-.05,-.002].(4)There is a significant mediating effect between mothers’ positive coping styles and psychological resilience. The indirect effect value of mother’s positive coping style on psychological resilience is.06(SE =.02),and the 95% confidence interval is[.04,.09];the mediating effect of mother’s negative coping style on psychological resilience is not significant, and the indirect The effect size was-.01(SE =.01),with a95% confidence interval of [-.04,.007].(5)There is a significant difference in the indirect effect of parents’ positive coping style on adolescents’ psychological resilience. The father’s positive coping style is significantly greater than that of the mother. The difference between the two indirect effects is.06(SE =.02),and the 95% confidence interval is [.02,.11].There was no significant difference in the indirect effect of parental negative coping styles on adolescents’ resilience, the difference value of the indirect effect was-.01(SE =.02),and the 95% confidence interval was [-.05,.03].Based on the above results, this study makes up for the indirect learning perspective in the impact mechanism of adolescents’ psychological resilience, and effectively expands the theoretical perspective of psychological resilience;in addition, this study proposes corresponding educational countermeasures, and advocates that parents should actively pay attention to their own stress in practice. In response to incidents, parents(especially fathers)should set a good example for teenagers,so that they can effectively enhance the psychological resilience level of adolescents.
