The psychological suzhi of the middle school students is an important research content for the indigenization of positive psychology,and it is also one of the key points in the mental health education at the middle school stage to improve its psychological suzhi.Previous studies have shown that coping style,as an important factor affecting individual physical and mental development,is closely related to psychological suzhi,and positive mental quality and resilience are positive factors affecting the development of middle school students’ mental health,and also have a certain correlation with the development of mental quality level.However,there are relatively few studies on the relationship between the four and the middle school students,which is worth people’s attention.Therefore,this study introduces three variables: coping style,positive mental quality and mental resilience,explores the relationship between the four variables,examines the current situation of middle school students’ psychological suzhi,coping style,positive mental quality and mental resilience,and puts forward suggestions on how to improve the development level of middle school students’ psychological suzhi.Cluster sampling method was adopted to conduct a questionnaire survey on 2142 middle school students from three middle schools in Dazhou City,Sichuan Province,and 1931 valid questionnaires were obtained.SPSS24.0,process plug-in and Mplus8.0were used for statistical analysis and test of the existing data,and structural equation model was established and verified at the same time.The results show that:(1)The overall psychological suzhi of middle school students is relatively high,positive psychological quality and psychological resilience are above the average level,and middle school students are more inclined to choose problem-solving coping methods.(2)Except for the one-child level,there are significant differences in the coping styles,mental suzhi,positive mental quality and mental resilience of middle school students in terms of gender,grade,place of origin,whether they are class leaders or not,and father’s level of education.(3)The positive coping style of middle school students has significant positive correlation with the psychological suzhi,positive psychological quality and psychological resilience of middle school students,and has significant positive predictive effect on the three.(4)The negative coping style of middle school students was significantly negatively correlated with positive psychological quality and resilience,and had a significant negative predictive effect on both.(5)Positive psychological quality and resilience were significantly positively correlated with the psychological suhzi of middle school students,and had significant positive predictive effect on the psychological suzhi;Positive psychological quality has a significant positive predictive effect on psychological resilience.(6)The positive psychological quality of middle school students plays a partial mediating role between positive coping style and psychological suzhi.(7)The psychological resilience of middle school students plays a complete mediating role between positive coping style and psychological suzhi.(8)Positive psychological quality and resilience of middle school students play a chain mediating role between positive coping style and psychological suzhi.
