| With the increase of the grade of upper primary school students,in the face of academic pressure from different sources, students’ learning anxiety level continues to increase, which seriously affects the learning life and physical and mental health of primary school students.By exploring the characteristics and interrelationships of academic stress, academic self-efficacy and learning anxiety from different sources, this study further investigates the parallel mediating role of the two dimensions of academic self-efficacy between different types of academic stress and learning anxiety, and provides empirical support for reducing primary school students’ academic pressure and alleviating learning anxiety of primary school students, and provides relevant educational suggestions. In this study,850 fourth-and fifth-grade primary school students(Laixi is the May Fourth school system)from two primary schools in Laixi City,Qingdao were used as participants, and three scales: "Academic Stress Scale","Academic Self-efficacy Scale" and "Learning Anxiety Scale" were used to conduct questionnaire surveys.SPSS22.0 and Process were used to analyze the data and obtain the following results and conclusions:(1)The greatest pressure in the academic pressure of upper elementary school students is peer pressure, followed by parental pressure. There were no significant gender differences in academic pressure, but there were significant gender differences in peer pressure and teacher-student interaction pressure, and there were no significant gender differences in academic pressure and parental pressure. There were significant grade differences in students’ academic pressure, and significant grade differences in the two dimensions of teacher-student interaction pressure and parental pressure.(2)There were significant differences in learning anxiety among upper primary school students in both gender and grade.Among them, the learning anxiety score of girls is significantly higher than that of boys, and the learning anxiety score of fifth grade students is significantly higher than that of fourth grade students.Learning anxiety did not differ significantly in whether or not to be an only child.(3)Peer pressure,teacher-student interaction pressure, and parental pressure in the academic pressure of senior primary school students can significantly positively affect learning anxiety, while academic pressure has no significant impact on learning anxiety.(4)Peer pressure, schoolwork pressure and parental pressure of senior primary school students can significantly negatively affect the learning ability of primary school students self-efficacy,while teacher-student interaction pressure has no significant effect.Academic pressure, academic pressure,teacher-student interaction pressure, and peer pressure have a significant negative impact on students’ self-efficacy in learning behavior.(5)Among the mediating mechanisms of academic stress affecting learning anxiety,it is found that self-efficacy of learning ability and self-efficacy of learning behavior play a parallel mediating role, and this mediating mechanism is consistent in the relationship between peer pressure,teacher-student interaction pressure, parental pressure and learning anxiety. |
